Use this thread if you are reading through the book and you want to talk about it. For example, if you are anything like me, if something crazy happens in a book I always want to talk about it right after it happens! It's also nice to discuss with others who are reading through it. Please make sure at the top of every thing you post you have a SPOILER warning and say up to what page you are on.

Jen (wishesandwanderlust) | 696 comments I actually just started this book last night. I've only read the first chapter but it's pretty funny so far.

Anyone else planning on reading it?

Jessica (crazylilcuban) I just started reading last night and only got through the first chapter but I'm already loving it. Tiny has got to be one of my favorite ridiculous characters. :)

Ashley Lauren (ashleyllauren) Hehe, I agree Jessica, he's totally absurd. I actually find the whole cast of characters to be almost surprisingly unique, despite being... well, angsty teenagers in high school, you know?

Jen (wishesandwanderlust) | 696 comments I'm in the middle of chapter five and so far this book is making me laugh pretty often.

Tiny is an interesting character. I have to keep reminding myself that he's not actually a small person.

A quote in Chapter 5 that make me laugh a lot:

"You know how people are always saying your parents are always right? "Follow your parents' advice, they know what's good for you." And you know how no one ever listens to this advice, even if its true it's so annoying and condescending that it just makes you want to go, like develop a meth addiction and have unprotected sex with eighty-seven thousand anonymous partners?"

Jessica (crazylilcuban) Ha ha, I totally loved that quote too!

I just finished the book last night and I absolutely loved it. Tiny is amazing, and even though there's a lot of teenage angst going on, I found the characters really relatable and entertaining.

Jen (wishesandwanderlust) | 696 comments Glad to hear you liked the book Jessica! I've been super busy lately so my reading time has been slim to none but I hope to get a good portion of the book read tomorrow.

Since the chapters switch back and forth with the two different narrations I really like how one Will Grayson doesn't have any capitalization in his chapters. I can easily tell which Will Grayson it is.

Jessica (crazylilcuban) Yeah, I thought that was great too. I actually met David Levithan at a signing a couple weeks ago (his Will Grayson is the lower case one), and it turns out that he actually had a really different reason for doing it, which I thought was interesting. I posted what he said in the other discussion thread for the book if you're interested (I don't think there are any spoilers in there yet).

Jen (wishesandwanderlust) | 696 comments Spoilers up to Chapter 18: (view spoiler)

It's confusing talking about the two Will Grayson's at the same time.

Chris | 93 comments I'm about a hundred pgs in and I'm trying to figure out when the relation between the two Will Grayson's is gonna show up. Right now its just confusing.

Charm | 5 comments I just borrowed a copy of the book a couple days ago, but I didn't start reading it until last night. So far, it's pretty hilarious. I just got to the part when Will 1 and Will 2 meet. Besides sharing the same name, I don't really see a connection between them either. (view spoiler)
