I read it when I was 10, and I'm turning 23 this year. I've loved it ever since. :)

I was in third grade,8 years old and I actually read the Chamber of Secrets first.
I was in 5th grade, and I had read the Charlie Bone series and really liked it so people were telling me that I would probably like Harry Potter too so I read the first one and loved it! Then my cousin gave me the rest of the books and here I am now.
4th grade, because it was before DH came out and people were having an argument about Snape. Still freaked out that he's in his 30's.
the first time i read the harry potter books was when i was in the 7th grade. by then 3 books had already came out. and at first it took a long time to read the first book but after passing the first few chapters i was hooked. since then i read everything in order. was a fan waaay before the movie came out. first i borrowed them from the library. the fourth book i actually reserved even before it came out. then i slowly bought the book one by one, by the fifth book i was lining up to get it when it was released
I started reading them in the middle of elementary school (Like 2nd or 3rd grade) and then lost my place in the second book, so I stopped reading them because I wasn't that interested. So then I looked at all of the other books I had to see what happened. (Luckily I didn't own DH!) But then in fourth grade I went back to them and developed a HUGE OBSESSION! And luckily forgot most of what I read in the other books.

I wondered why everyone in my HS was so hopped on this "Harry Potter" guy. I watched the first movie between HS and college 8 years ago and it was so good, I had to read the books! Would they be as good? Nope. They were so much better.!!
I first read Harry Potter when I was ten years, at the lunchtime in the school. The first book I read was HP and the chamber of the secrets. I borrowed the book from my best friend. It was funny since I didn't know anything about Harry Potter universe up to that moment. From that point on I hooked on in the series.
I boycotted this series from my childhood I thought it was "dumb" I couldn't stand to hear the name harry potter to tell you the truth. Then, in 2010 I went to islands of adventure and if it wasn't for my husband to want to see the Hp area, I still wouldn't care for it. I was actually blown away with the ride and I got curious and saw all 6 movies back than and fell in love and read everything and never looked back. I've become obsessed and I even have a small tatt on my wrist lol I was bummed at myself I let this fantastic world slipped from my childhood actually but glad I brought it to my life years later ;-)
I read sorcerer's stone when I was in 8th grade and It is good that's why I decided to read the rest of the books. Because of my attachment to the book, I decided to buy my own copy(15th anniversary edition) and reread it

When I was little I had trouble reading, I wasn't any good at all. So when I was around 5 or 6, my mum and dad read them out loud for me. They read the first four books for me and when the Order of Phoenix came out as a movie, I started reading them by myself and have been reading them since!
I saw the first 5 movies one after one, as they came out. After the fifth I couldn't wait for the halfblood Prince so I read it at the age of 10 and the dealthly hallows soon thereafter. Of course I read them all some years later :)
i've got a confession to make... :Oyes yes, it would make sense, it could have made the slightest bit of sense........
If..., in fact i was living under a rock for all my life, or some evil, devilish force kept me from it.
But sadly, thats not the case.
I knooooow, i don't have words for it either, my mouth drops to the floor too, when i think about it !
So i thought, the time is finally there,HURRAYY:D !!! i need to, going to, complete my life.
The purpose why one is on earth.
For if i'd die tomorrow, my life would be incomplete.*being a dramaqueen xD lol ! *
Ofcourse i'm talking about the fact, that
i haven't read any of the harry potter books yet, ever o.O !
The ini mini tiny little positive is, that i only saw like the first 2 or 3 movies so i'm not really spoiled and i hope i can dive in them like a child:)
So, but ofcourse i wouldn't put myself a shame telling this if it had no purpose, i hope you're all feeling bad for me xD and join me * puppy eyes* hihi
I'd really like to buddy read them !
ofcourse i don't expect there is any other human being ,but me, that didn't read them yet * yea yeai know im exaggerating.much.*
But maybe someone feels like re-reading them ? :D
I first read it when I was in 7th grade, and I'm in 8th grade now. I wish I could have read it earlier.
Well i was born in 1996 so surely i wasnt the very first fan lol i started reading them when i was 13 they didnt sell all the books in my country so i had to wait alot! I saw like the first five movies then when i got them all in the correct order i started reading them and since then i just love them Always.

I remember that day so vividly... (how could I not?) I was eleven, and the date was 27th October, 2012...I remember having received Philosopher's Stone three months ago, and I also remember how I had groaned, 'Oh, not Harry Potter!' and just stuffed it somewhere in my already-overcrowded bookshelf...(I feel like slapping myself now)...Then on 27th of October, two weeks before my final exams, I found I had read and re-read ALL the books in my bookshelf, ALL except Philosopher's Stone. Being a great 'devotee' of all kinds of books, I felt kind of sorry for the poor novel-unread and all by itself-crammed into some corner of my bookshelf, so I picked it up and started reading...imagine my horror when it turned out to be the best book on earth!! And I went on reading the entire series and by the end of Deathly Hallows, I was a crazy Potterhead!
Late spring of 2011 when my class was having a discussion of wether or not they liked Snape. I couldn't even pretend, since I had no idea what they were talking about. I had read all the books twice by the time school started again.
I started reading it, when I watched the 8 films.. It changed my life actually. I was fascinated by this world of magic. ^_^V
i dont remeber the date i started but i have been watching the movies as long as i remeber but only started last year readding the books but i LOVE them
OMG! I actually hated them when I was in second grade but I am in love with them now. I cry every time Sirius dies!
Even when I was in second grade, I had a hipster/forget-the-conformists attitude, and therefore completely rebelled against the Harry Potter craze...until my parents made we watch the Chamber of Secrets.I've been in love ever since! And now that I think of it, Harry Potter was the first quality literature I ever read.

How sad are we?!
I can't really remember what age I was when I started reading the books, only that it was before I was 11 since I clearly remember waiting for my very own letter. XDAnd I have loved them ever since I started reading them.
In 3grade my mom read the first 2 out loud and then I was like forget this your reading to slow and read them my self
I loved Harry Potter from the moment I first saw the movie's commercials. Back then I was too young to read the books, which made me sad since I loved reading picture books already, but a close family friend bought my older sister the first book (she didn't care for reading much) and I was so eager to rip it apart.I kept reading, motivated to see the little illustration beginning each chapter. Unfortunately my attention span was too short. Fastforward to third grade when GoF came out and I read the entire thing over and over.
I just started reading this series. Have never watched the movies; however, had heard many good things about the books and movies. So here I am, just finished reading POA and have enjoyed all 3 thus far.
When I was in 2nd or 3rd grade.
I started when I was eleven or twelve, but I wasn't interested, so I stopped. I revisited them when I was twenty-three and read them all in under a month. I should have just read them as they were released. :(
