Readers often ask: "Do you have any plans to do other historical/diary/biographical fiction type stories, like your novels about Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte?" The answer is Yes, I'm developing a proposal for another book of that type, and in the meantime would love to hear from readers about the subjects they'd love to read about! Please share your thoughts!

Jacquelijacqueline Young | 19 comments Well, I'll have to think on that. does it have to be fiction? or can it be a book with historical people in general? Many books about Cleopatra I think leave out things, and don't describe her well. I watched a documentary where she wasn't an evil person after all, and all saw her as this woman who had power over the two leading men of that time, Julius Caesar and Mark Antony, and that she just wanted to gain Egypt all to herself. I don't know. it's an idea to kind of write a fictional romance based on maybe her and Caesar or Antony? I know it's been done, but I've only seen it in Shakespeare, which is hard to understand.

I am a big fan of the Gilded Age/Edwardian Age/WWI period. There are many interesting women in that era and the world was changing very rapidly in many ways - especially socially and new inventions (cars, telephones, airplanes).

I truly enjoy your ability to capture the time period in which you are writing - be it historical or contemporary. It goes without saying I will read whatever you publish next!

Thank you for taking the time to do this group. It has been so interesting!

I love those time periods too. Have you been watching "Downton Abbey" on Masterpiece Theater? It's awesome! Thanks for participating in this Q&A. It's been fun chatting with you!

Jana at ThatArtsyReaderGirl.com (miss_jana) I know this post is late, and maybe nobody is reading anymore, but I'd love a diary of Christine from Phantom of the Opera!

Meredith (Austenesque Reviews) (merry816) That's a terrific idea!
