Writing Websites

As for the whole 'closeted writers' thing, my family knows that that's what I want to do, they just don't really know that I currently do it.

I like showing my friends who are also writers. Because they get it.

YAY. What's your username?"
Good question. Let me look it up. =P

My family knows I write, they just don't know about me talking to y'all, what the heck I even write about, nor any of my obsessions.
They don't even know I read about serial killers.
I. Kid. You. Not.
My mom's all like, "YOU'RE TOO YOUNG TO READ ABOUT THEM THEY WILL SCAR YOU" and I'm thinking, "Okay, sorry I've already read like three books and numerous Wikipedia and other website articles."

My mom used to be, but she lightened up last summer for some reason. About most thing. *grumbles* Apparently still not about nail polish.
It's a long story involving people who have certain religious beliefs (i.e., my mother) and people who aren't convicted of the same thing (i.e., myself) and a sleepover where my friend gave me a manicure.

HACK HER. ;)
HACK HER. ;)

My parents tend to care more about movies, like, if I'm actually seeing something happening rather than just reading it.

Yeah, I think my parents are that way a little bit too.

My parents used to be a bit more like that too, I guess. Although not since I was like ... 10.

The guy gave you a lecture about a movie you were getting? O.o That's awkward.
Being able to drive has made my life so much more fun. Last night my friends and I went to the McDonald's parking lot like all the "cool" kids do in my town, but no one was there so we blasted music and danced like white Adventist girls in the parking lot. It was fantastic. xD

The 'cool' kids in Fort Scott go to Sonic, and that's what I did last night, but only for a bit, because everybody was in Louisburg at a basketball game.
And we waste like 70% of my gas tank just driving around.

It's really not all that great. I guess it's better than being in the house bored. We tend to just try to find fun people.
Just tell them you're going somewhere and then drive.
I'm not allowed to go places unless I have a reason to be there. Sometimes I try to go to the library just to get away and they don't want me to because it's 15 minutes away and right by my school so they think I should just go after school. Blugh ugh ugh. I could probably say I'm going to the grocery store or something though.

But it allows so much more freedom! You can go places even if your parents are busy!

OH MY GOSH I HATE LEFT TURNS YIELD ON GREEN. I never ever ever remember that. >.< I also forget about right on red, but that's not life threatening, it just ticks people behind you off.

I did it the other day and I realized like right after I started so I was like, OH YEAH I TOTALLY MEANT TO TURN RIGHT and so I did and felt stupid but just turned around and went where I meant to XD

My drivers ed teacher forgot to tell me that so the first left turn I came..."
My driver's ed teacher was panicky and he would always slam on his brake when I still had plenty of room to decelerate. So annoying.

*cracks up*
Well, my Driver's Ed teacher asked me about my religion and got extremely offended and defensive when I told him we believe in going to church on Saturday. I was just thinking, "Dude, I'm not judging you, calm down! You're the one who asked!"

Wait, seriously? I felt like Inkpop was a much meaner place, I think because there was all that competition to get noticed by HarperCollins. There were nice people, sure, but there were also quite a lot of rude people. So far I haven't had anyone say anything mean to me on Figment... Ah, well. I feel like people from the two sites kind of hate each other, so it's weird that they're joining so suddenly.
