Wow. I'm thinking of some pretty dirty words for that author right now. Personally, I love fanfiction. I read it all the time, I've even been thinking about writing it actually. I think what I got from that link is that Diane Gabaldon is a moron who just lost hundreds, if not thousands of potential customers. At least, if I do read her books, I can get them from the library and avoid giving her money by buying them.

Evelyn Fletcher (speederina) | 131 comments Just started reading Naughty or Nice. You were right about the cover Sharon, it's pretty bad, LOL. The book is awesome so far though. :) I love Lucien's cockney accent, it reminds me of My Fair Lady.

This is definitely one where they need one those 80's paintings for a cover. I'm at the part where she's about to sew him up after shooting him, LOL

Evelyn Fletcher (speederina) | 131 comments 1) Well... That was weird. All that and they just left. Is the next one the actual time-warp?
2) Ah, Lucien appears to be using the famous "I'm in pain, only you can help" method with a slight variation. Reminds me of James Malory from A Gentle Rogue.

Evelyn Fletcher (speederina) | 131 comments Screaming stones, huh? Okay you've convinced me, LOL. I'll have to get this one just to read that again. :D

Sharon (sharjonm) | 193 comments I convinced you huh? I wish somebody would give me a paycheck for my selling ability :)

LOL

So, still laughing? or are you taking a break and letting your insides settle a bit? Or, have you moved into the sizzle and burn section yet?

Evelyn Fletcher (speederina) | 131 comments I actually took a break to update all the books I've read. If you look at the list, remember, some of them I read years ago, like the entire Redwall series. ;)

Sharon (sharjonm) | 193 comments Ok, I feel obliged to remove all traces of the das-turdly, I mean, dastardly Diana Gabaldon's writing from our thread here.

Tis done

LOL :D I'll still read her book though, as long as I'm not giving her money. :)

Sharon (sharjonm) | 193 comments Good morning Evelyn.

It was fun going along with you on your read last night of Naughty or Nice. I haven't re-read that in at least of couple of years, and it amazes me just how clear my memory of that story is. Guess it's my all time favorite re-read. :)

Evelyn Fletcher (speederina) | 131 comments It's a really good book. I feel so sorry for Fancy, having to leave the country and go to London. :( Derik is awesome though, :) and I love the name Lucien. Ever since I read a book where main character was possessed by the demon of Death, and his name was Lucien, I've loved that name. :)
