What Actor Will You Watch in Anything?

he's the exact reason why i stopped watching The Tudors! well, that and the bad writing (to me). he just doesn't make sense as Henry VIII (again, to me)...way too effete and twerpy. but i do like him a lot when he plays creepy villains. like in Ride with the Devil.
LOL, different strokes for different folks! I loved him in The Tudors. I thought he totally rocked the role and personally I think its a role JRM himself really enjoyed. He seemed to have been able to exorcise a lot of his personal demons by playing Henry VIII and that came across on the screen loud and clear for me. I do agree with you on the writing, however. At first I thought it was great, but upon viewing the series a second time there were so many meaningless story lines and plot devices that didn't make any sense. I was surprised at Michael Hirst.Julie, I just couldn't understand what the heck Last Night was trying to say about the themes it addressed. It was like a scientist coming up with a new theory, but leaving the audience in suspense as to exactly what it is about. It was nice to see Sam doing something different (and hearing his Aussie accent), but unfortunately this film was a big waste of time. I was actually quite pissed after watching it.
Denzel Washington, Blair Underwood, Shemar Moore, Tyler Perry, Angela Bassett, and I can rewatch over and over any films by the late great actresses Joan Crawford and Bette Davis.
Oh IDK, I seem to be out of love of a lot of actors I used to follow before. Might add the Social Network guy , have also seen him in Zombieland. Christian Bale , not every movie cos there are some really strange ones I believe.
hmmm...Jennifer Aniston maybe the new ones, some of those in the middle were a bit dull.
Strangely, Vince Vaughn ok not all , but some.
Oh and Matthew Mcconnnnn ghey (gee!) I think I have seen a few, one way or another and did like a few, guy is good in light stuff as well as action stuff.
Maybe not Jake Gyllenhall even if he was n't too bad in Prince of Persia.
Johnny Depp Idk I feel the man should move in with Penelope Cruz if not already and stop making movies...ouch!
ok ok Anne Hathaway ummm no can't be sure unless it's a really really up swing movie.
Still have a tiny corner for Matt Damon but no good movies recently ( i think) ...
unfortunately didn't develop any hard core affection for Leonardo diCaprio or Wahlberg, so my loss I guess.
LiLo seems bloated and what was a cute girly lip action thing before, is now like botox overdose...so!
Never got under Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt so I guess that leaves me out of most of whatever circle they move in and call Angelina Jolie or tree of life.
oh oh liked The Rock but nahhh not every movie, gahhh have a life !!!
Can't imagine what I even saw in James aw can't even recall the name i'm sorry... ok he was good in Tristan and Spiderman.
Luckily, rediscovered CasperVDiem, he still makes really gritty meaningless average flicks, so realistic.
Nooo not P Brosnan, unless he shaves his chest for all the nude Bond scenes.
Mostly done with period classics for now so thankfully no more forced Hugh Grant (what is that accent?) or even Colin Firth (ummm he did make a good dad somewhere)
It was just the heist so no Clooney or Julia Roberts
Read that!!!

Jesse Eisenberg: well, he does kinda play himself in every movie.
(And before rendering a judgment on McConaughey, you should probably see Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. In which he stars with... Renee Zellweger! No, seriously.)
Audrey Tautou is the first person that springs to mind. She's way too awesome. Also, Helena Bonham Carter, Cate Blanchett and Carey Mulligan. No male actors spring to mind except Colin Firth and Johnny Depp.
John CusackAudrey Hepburn
Eliza Dushku
Erica Durance (though she hasn't been in many movies)
Hugh Grant
There are more but I can't think of them right now.
binoche is a god. i'd watch her read the phonebook. if you haven't seen her in certified copy, the newest film by abass kiarostami, check it out - she's fantastic in it.

I'll still probably see it, just because it has Sam Worthington and the french star, Guillaume Cantet, who I like a lot. I also like Keira Knightley.
I have to add Claude Rains and Edward G. Robinson as actors I would watch in anything. Although neither of them had your classic Cary Grant leading man type of good looks, every old movie I see them in on AMC is awesome. They are killing it (in a good way)!
As lame as this sounds: Orlando Bloom. Really, I will watch ANYTHING he's in. XDAlso:
Viggo Mortensen
Stellan Skarsgard
Alexander Skarsgard
Francois Arnaud
Stark Sands
And fairly recently, James McAvoy.
My devotion to Johnny Depp was sorely tested over the summer, as my hatred for the vile Rob Marshall kept me from shelling out to see the latest PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN thing.I'll still probably watch it on HBO, though.

Alexander Skarsgard is so good in TRUE BLOOD, and François Arnaud (he's from my hometown) is really good in THE BORGIAS. I'd like to see more of them.
I liked Viggo Mortensen in EASTERN PROMISES.

Awesome! Francois is a gem. He's fantastic! :)
I've been a Skarsgard fan since... Stellan, really. Since waaay before True Blood. I actually like Alex's previous work, Generation Kill, TONS more than TB.
And Viggo? OMG. ANYTHING he's in.
I do enjoy watching movies with KATE WINSLET, especially Richard Yates’ “Revolutionary Road”, directed by Sam Mendes. To my the adaptation is as good as the movie “The Reader” by Bernhard Schlink.

Yeah, Viggo Mortensen was great in Eastern Promises - a great movie overall. And he was fantastic in "The Green Book."

I haven't seen Last Night yet so don't know how Sam Worthington did.
