New to goodreads and not sure if I really need another site to visit. Will probably have to edit profile so that people know who I really am.
Goodreads adds a different element for me. I often read books that are borrowed or library books, which I can't bookcross. I can record my thoughts here, and then, should I come across a spare copy down the line, know where I can get my thoughts on the book. Works well for me.
Hello all, Just joined goodreads but been on bookcrossing since 2004 (jaynereader). I also think it will be good for me to write about the library/borrowed books I read, and more of my permanent collection which isn't on BC. I need to start writing some reviews, have only star-rated so far.
I seem to have set myself a reading goal on here, not sure how, we'll see if I get there!
Vanessa- you don't have to set yourself a reading goal, its only an option
Abigail, I know but I seem to have done it involuntarily while clicking around on everything. I won't mind if I don't manage it. :-)

Thank you bookczuk! Currently reading Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell, and Know. It's interesting but I find myself falling asleep while reading it...it's a little dry. How about you?
