Publisher would like this book deleted

I recently manually added the book "The Day We Delay" but have since been asked by the publisher to take it down (it doesn't come out until may). I tried to delete it myself but was told only super librarians could do so. Can anyone take this down for me?

Just curious - do we know why the publisher didn't want it up? Since it comes out in a few months it seems strange....

I'm confused as to why this was deleted. Why delete a valid entry just because it's not out yet? There are books in the database that aren't even written yet and we include those. Seems weird to make an exception for this.

The deletion request came from the same user who created it, who was also the only user who had it shelved. The ISBN is not found anywhere online except GR, and if the publisher was requesting the deletion, I'm guessing there are changes (to the title? cover? contents?) planned and they don't want the incorrect version out there.

While we're (sort of) on the subject...should this one also be deleted? According to the description, it was never published, even though the publication date is 2009. I can't find it anywhere, including the author's website.

Since it is still listed on Amazon.ca, deletion would be useless.

Re: "The Day We Delay" I received an ARC copy of the book and wanted to get it listed right away, knowing that I might have to make manual changes once it was released. But the publisher contacted me and requested that it be removed because the version I posted wasn't the final version.
