Hi Julie and Jessica..I got my Nook Color earlier this year and I too love it..I had reservations about getting one since I love my actual books..My husband finally talked me into it and so glad he did..My husband just bought a WiFi Tablet a couple months ago so I now get the Kindle books on it..I have quite a collection of books on both and so many of them on the Kindle have been free or under 3.00 each..I still am buying actual books from my book clubs but my New Year's Goal is to be able to give that up..I love how easy it to always have books with me wherever I go and the conveinance of buying a book instantly..
Hi Karen! In the beginning I was with you and thought I don't know if I want to give up my real books. The feel of the pages, the smell of a new book, but then I realized reading has nothing to do with the type of media but more about the actual words and story. I got over the idea of the book and more about the why I read the book. I have kindle for my Macbook and read on my computer but I love reading on my Nook Color. all I can do now is try to catch up my reading speed with my buying speed!
Julie that is so true..The content should be what matters and I have so many books it isn't like I won't have any around..I love to sit and read in my library room surrounded by my books..I do love reading the Nook Color and I enjoy being able to read at night in bed without having a light on..I'm a fast reader but I too need to speed up with my buying speed..I'm now babysitting full-time for my 19 month old twin grandsons and with housework,laundry,cooking,etc.I don't have as much time for reading..
Hi! I'm Yvonne. I just bought a refurbished Nook Color about a month ago and absolutely love it. I already have the first edition Nook and loved that. They are both great. I'm looking forward to chatting with other Nook Color owners.

The group there have a lot to say and then there is the B&N website, too. A blog called The E-reader Blog gives reviews, comparisons, and tips about e-readers and also has information about the new tablet.

Hi, I'm Diane & I've had my Nook Color for a year & loveit. I've had a couple problems with it deregistering itself but love it anyway. I just found this group & am so happy that i did.
Hi! I'm Jasmine, and I have been addicted to my nook color ever since my hubby bought it for me as an anniversary present in Dec of 2010. I not only read on it but use it for almost all of my internet browsing. About two months ago I footed with an n2a card, and it has opened up a whole new world of uses.
Hi I am Amanda. I got my nook color for christmas.. I had the older addition. but have used the color a tone more.. Hello people, My Name is Ange. I recently received a Nook Color, so far i love it. I previously owned a Sony pocket e-reader. Which i enjoyed for 2 years, but needed to upgrade to a new reader. After a few days with the nook color i already know that i'm going to love it!!!!

I got my Nook Color for Christmas last year. I have enjoyed every minute with my nook since. Did that sound weird? Well, I don't care. I always read a lot but now I think I'm reading more. I read everything and it's just so much more fun on my nook! I have said so many great things about my nook that I've gotten my friends to buy nooks also!
