I have a few other friends in the area that I plan to meet and we haven't firmed up plans for any of the days or nights, but I'd love to have you join us. :)"
Heidi! DC? I'm near there too, you know!

Really?! Sweet! Maybe the three of us can meet up somewhere in DC. That would be swell. :)

I just figured out why Jonathan is where he is, though. You've been placed in the upper west side of New York State, rather than the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

That'd be fun, Jonathan! Let me know when and I'll check my calendar.

Will do. The guy I'm supposed to meet at the Walters hasn't gotten back to me with a date and time yet, but I'll let you know when I have a better idea of the plan. Hope it works out.

Maybe the reason I haven't met more goodreaders is that no one realizes that where I live in VA is just outside DC. Tons of people should be coming to DC all the time to see me and Sarah Pi ALL THE TIME!

Funny. That absolutely never occurred to me, but I bet you're right. To be fair to Gail, though, I would have no clue trying to find my way around a map of Australia.

Oh, absolutely. She used the clues she had, and did a great job of it.
I am pretty chuffed that everyone likes the map. :D
I'll put Cosmic Sher on now. Thanks Jackie
I am sorry no one leaves near you Phil, they are a bunch of party poopers.

It's probably more often used by the British, but as we are still colonials we use a lot of British words.
@Jackie. We say biscuit but cookie is starting to creep into the vocab, particularly when referring to those large oversized round ones.

You are now on the map Mary. Sorry I missed you earlier.

If that second picture in msg249 is what you call a biscuit, it looks like a scone.
