Same book different author name?

A little bird and the product description tells me these two are the same, just a UK publisher giving the author a *new* name.

Interesting...the author could very well be using a different pen name; similar to J.D. Robb vs. Nora Roberts, and Victoria Holt vs. Phillipa Carr, et. al.

I do know that the UK publisher (Avon) did something very similar with another book/author on the Tudors last year. The other author has stated that the name change was at the behest of her UK publisher.
