GAH I WANNA READ BRISINGR SOOO BAD!!

and i liked the narnia series...except for the last battle. that was SOO confusing and i didn't get it at the end. the world was dying and then all of a sudden it WASN'T because there was a copy of the world or something...? it made no sense!

and the prince caspian movie was okay. the action was good and all, so i guess it would have been a good movie by itself, but it was too different from the book for me to like it.

and where did the susan/prince caspian romance come in from? sheesh.

i kept feeling like i didn't know what book it was based on when i watched it.

It was weird how they were dead throughout the whole story though, and nobody realized it.

And I said that the magicians nephew was my favorite...I sort of forgot about voage of the daw treader when i said that. I LOVE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER!!!!!! My favorite part was when he peeled of the dragon skin.

Anyways, I have to say that my favorite is split between The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and The Silver Chair. Oh and of course the first is my favorite, too.

And I just have to say something off-topic...I JUST FINISHED THE HOST AND GAHH!!!!!!! BEST BOOK IN THE WORLD!!! teehee. XD i cried at the end...

yeah the whole narnia series is some big metaphor for christianity ... part of the reason why i couldn't get into them ...

Yeah! exactly. for a second i was like OMG IT CAN'T END THERE!!! and i was like about to have a heart attack. and then i saw the pages at the end and i was like YAY. only i was really confused as to what was going on at first, but after a few pages i understood it. XD and i was happy. yayz.

Hmmm ... I don't know. I wasn't really all that sad, to tell the truth, at the ending of The Host. I guess I didn't really get into that book as much as the Twilight books. Still awesome! But it wasn't ... as good to me. *shrugs* Just a personal opinion.

And I recently (okay, a couple months ago) found a good way to judge how good a book is. How long does it take me to get sucked in and never want to put it down? and can it hold that focus?

Stephanie Meyer's books give me that feeling within a couple paragraphs. I am there, in the story, and the real world doesn't exist.

same here!! meyer's books have super eye-glue on the pages. i could never look away, and when i had to be torn away for school or sleep or homework, it was painful!! and i was completely in the story. especially with the host...when i finished it, my head was still in story, and i walked around my house kind of dazed, not really seeing anything.

I liked Jacob better than edward for most of the books. Well, h e wasn't really there in twilight.

And there was that one time where he tried to kiss bella and she broke her finger when punching him afterward.

I like Edward, but for some reason, I like Jacob more. He just seems to be the type of guy for me. Edward is a little too elite. Plus, werewolves are awesome.

okay ... so this is what i think. jacob was hardly in the first one, so edward was cooler. jacob was cooler in the second one. edward was slightly cooler in the third one. and jacob was pretty cool in the fourth one, and edward was just ... eh. himself. so i'd say they're about tied, i guess. they're just really different though. edward is all serious. jacob is really funny. so i can't choose one or the other.

I like Edward in some situations and Jacob in others...I think they're opposites, but they have a lot in common, if that makes sense.
