i loved inuyasha until kikyo came back for the third time. well, i guess my interest began waning before that, and that event was the last straw. but it's freakishly addictive. i need to check out the rest of the series from the library

but i agree with tori too. if she didn't come back to life so many times, she would be the most interesting character. she is painted to be the same as inuyasha, both misunderstood, lonely, and slightly tragic. when kagome comes along, she gets to watch inuyasha, the one person who was suppose to understand her like no other could or would, fall for another. but kagome isn't just any other girl, noooo. she is literally the younger, newer version of herself. that, and the enormous weight of the "betrayal" drives her beyond loathing and into a spiral, nay, whirlwind of personal and physical distruction of everything in her path.

but with kikyo, it would have been fine if she came back once. but she didn't, she kept coming back like some vengeful cockroach.

Yet, even cockroaches have new generations to take their place. Kikyo's just happened to be Kagome, whom, might I say, was a little moody time to time.

luckiest? i don't know. i don't exactly classify having to compete against a past lover for your love interest's affection to be exactly lucky, nor would i consider being constantly attacked by demons to be lucky either.

i guess i don't consider kagome lucky at all. she had to work to get inuyasha to even look her way

i think it would be rather scarey. her life is in danger all of the time, and it's not like she has easy access to a hospital for when she gets hurt. but that's just me, i'm a fairly cautious person

I got to episode 167. I just gave up at that point. I don't know if anymore has been released since then, I would be surprised if it remained there actually. We are talking about a few, *cough* 4, years ago.

"Inuyasha: The Final Act" seems to have continued it, but is also nearing it's end.
