Just read an email from Oprah.com that states she has 1,500 books on her bookshelves. That sounds like she's lagging behind many of the people on this list, myself included.

Shadown Moon is a little slow to start but quite good once it gets going. The first book draws heavily from Willow the movie. I'm almost done with book 2 and am really enjoying it.

Wow,I'm getting some serious bookshelf envy here, lol. Due to my current living arrangements I'm not able to have a book shelf. Well technically i do have one but the only place i could put it is right next to a window and the one time I tried to keep books there the pages started to fade and the edges of the pages got that yellowish tint, so i stopped doing that pretty quick. Now I keep all of my books in one big trunk and numerous smaller boxes. I would love to be able to keep them all on shelves where i could actually see them on a regular basis, but at least they're safe and dust free, lol. I guess I'll just have to wait till i get my own place to get a book shelf.

I still need to find some more. Mine are full and I'm building large piles of books on the floor in my bedroom.

I know-my TBR bookcase isnt that big, and its now all doubled up and there is a big box on the floor too.

I just moved in a new house and I have a lot of furniture to buy, I can't buy bookshelves for the moment. We have one bookshelf in the living room with our favorite books (and cooking books) but the others are in boxes. I can't wait to see all of our books neatly organized. When I do, I'll upload a picture for sure!

horrible to be honest. It's not going well at all. Most of the houses worth looking at are all short sells that are still owner occupied. The rest need a lot of work (or is out of our price range)...which we won't be interested in doing.

I agree - good for all those books you have two of. Or books you'll never read again but have good covers - etc. And the glass over the top protects the books so if you ever decide that book on the third row might be worth another look...

Yup recognize most of your books too :). Apparently I need to add wizard figurines to my library. They seem to be all the rage
