Like many of you, I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan. I still have a "Hedwig's Theme" ringtone and carry a Golden Snitch stuffed keychain!

I usually dabble in romance novels, but I adore nothing more than a good suspenseful thriller. Sci-Fi and horror tales are also my specialty.
Anyone feel free to add me on here, I look forward to chatting! :)

my favourite genre is YA sci-fi and urban fantasy. I do read quite a lot of high fantasy novels as well as anything pertaining to nature.
Send me a friend request and let's talk books!

very cool!

I'm a little late to the party and my name is Jo. There once was a time when I hated to read, but once I got to highschool you would never see me without a book. I'm madly in love with Victoria Aveyard's novels and currently loving the Shatter Me series. I am excited to read a new lot of books with you all.

A good series to read is A Throne of Glass. The series is amazing!!

I'm a fantasy/sci-fi author whose been writing short stories for a few years now. I've been published in a few places: Apex Magazine, Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show, Daily Science Fiction. I just made featured author over at Lightspeed this month, which was glorious. So I finally went about self publishing my debut novel. This one here:

I joined the group because I not only wanted to promote the book, but I wanted dialogue with genuine, earnest readers that are into the same genre. That's you all. I look forward to seeing what you all are reading and talking about what makes for great stories!

I don’t have a favorite book, I’m so bad at choosing because there is so many that I love, but I love books that include mental illnesses and romance! :))
My name is Arielle I love YA and most other genres. I love Sarah J Maas' series, One Would Think the Deep by Claire Zorn and The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, naming a few.

Some of my favorite writers are sarah j. Mass , Marissa Meyer , Marie lu ,Emily Jenkins, holly black.

My nmae is Tim Davis. I have an adventure novel for 9 - 12 yo, self-published on Amazon. It's called Sea Cutter. I just had it translated into Spanish. I am now am working on the sequel called Red Stone. I really enjoy reading Tween lit -- Eoin Colfer is my fav living author.

I love to read young adult, fantasy, urban fantasy, some sci-fi, magical realism and mystery/crime novels. I’m not a big fan of contemporary but every once in a while one sneaks its way into my empty, ice cold, black soul and thaws it out for a little while.
*I love all things fantastical, whimsical, magical, and MEANINGFUL! If a book can’t make me truly feel something real then it isn’t worth my time.
*I have a soft spot for angst, villains, anti-heroes and the morally grey. I crave suspense and high stakes in my reading and I hate when you know everyone and everything will turn out fine.
*Plot twists give me life and getting punched in the heart is my favorite past time.
*If a book can make me cry it deserves 5 stars.
*There is no trope I hate as long as it is done well.
*I really enjoy adventure/quest stories where a character or group has to go in search of magical objects while solving riddles, deciphering clues, fighting bad guys and encountering magical creatures on their way!
*Atmosphere is one of my favorite elements of a story and I love being immersed in a beautiful and lush fantasy world filled with the kind of writing that can effortlessly transport you right into the middle of it.
*I hate diversity for the sake of diversity. If it’s not natural, don’t bother. WE CAN TELL!
*I am slowly being buried alive by the amount of books I own and continue to purchase. I have literally no where to put them all.
*I will never have my ever expanding TBR under control.
*I have a bad habit of looking for and purchasing new books that I am excited and intrigued by before reading the exiting and intriguing books I already own.
I just recently started to look for friends to add on GoodReads. Despite being a user of it for well over a year, I have only just started to reach out and try to find others on here to share my love and thoughts of books with! I have no one in my real life that shares my interest in or love of books so if anyone wants to add me, please feel free!!
Looking forward to getting to know some of you guys!

I'm a writer, theater nerd, and I can play a mean handbell (Notes C5 and B4).

I am a nerdy person with a passion for gaming, but I am always reading a book on the side of everything. Some of my favorite genres are ya, fantasy, horror, science fiction, fiction etc. I am also a crazy fan over graphic novels and manga.
