I'll honestly read just about anything anymore, though most books I read just happen to fit until the young adult category. I have too many books that I call my favorite these days, though I suppose that's a good thing. My most recent favorites are A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray and The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black.

Hi Alex, I too like the same series as you. I just started Insurgeant.,have you tried the Alex Rider Series and the Artemis Fowl Series they are both pretty good. I want to finish the second Percy Jackson series I rad the first ones this summer when everyone else was reading them, but I don't read as fast so I stayed behind everyone else. I really enjoyed them though. I bought the series in Hardback so this will be one of my keeper series. Good enough to read over again!!

Oh yes, are tastes are exactly the same. :) I haven't read Insurgent yet but plan to. I haven't tried the Alex Rider series yet, I hope you'll let me know what you think of it. I do like the Artemis Fowl series, but I'm a bit behind on it. I've been very focused on books by Rick Riordan for awhile. I read the Percy Jackson books as they come out, and then I started his other series. I love Greek mythology. I've also been reading the Hunger Games books. When I'm busy writing I try to stay away from too much fantasy or scifi so it doesn't overly affect my work. Sometimes I like to pick up an Agatha Christie novel or something new when I'm writing.

Have you read any of the Hunger Games books? I look forward to hearing what you think of Insurgent and the Alex Rider series. :)

I loved the Alex Rider Series!! I too love Greek mythology. So Percy Jackson was right up my alley . I need to start and finish the second series. I read all the Hunger Games and the Eron Fowler Series another good one is Peter and the Star Catchers. There are three new Peter Pan and that is the first one. I've bought all three but haven't read the other two yet.

I'm not familiar with the Eron Fowler Series. I love Peter Pan stories too. I haven't bought the Peter and the Star Catcher series yet though. I've heard mixed opinions on the Maze Runner. Have you tried that one yet?

I'm not sure if I ever made an introduction here but I highly doubt it. Anyway, I'm Fhina and I'm not so much of an young adult anymore - at least not my age but still by heart.

Currently I live in Helsinki, Finland and I'm about to warp up my studies and graduate this December, which is like super soon to be honest. I still have my Thesis due and in stead of reading for it/working towards it I can't stop putting down novels and keep procrastinating...I'm a pro in it!

I really enjoy reading young adult a lot and basically everything within the genre, favourites are however probably fantasy and romance as well as historical.

When I'm not reading, I like to workout and get my body in such pain that I refuse to go upstairs to my kitchen to have coffee, and I LOVE coffee... *chuckles*

Hi, my name is Emily :) I feel like I'm a bit late at joining this group but, as my math teacher has always said, better late than never! I absolutely love books (probably more than I like people) because I love the adventure and the story behind every single one of them.
I'd have to say my favourite series's are The Darkest Minds (it was brilliant), Hush Hush, The City of Bones, Across the Universe, The Selection, Divergent, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians (I'll never give that series up no matter how old I get).
I personally have to say that I have some sort of love for every book I read, even if it turns out to be horrible. People who can write books contain a certain gift of creativity that I'm glad can be shared with the world. It provides us with entertainment, excitement, sadness, love, grief, and really any emotion ever, and that's what I love most about books - we can attach ourselves to them emotionally.
I'm glad I was able to find this group and I look forward to being a part of it :)
