I'm also a wattpad fanatic. "irishrose": her books are the first one I've read on that site and let me say that she reeled me right in. She is my new favorite author on wattpad even though she's the only author I've read so far :p
Something I've wanted to tell anyone is I have my first ever date (to homecoming). This is irrelevant but I want to tell somebody! Haha. Well, that's it since I'm basically a loser :p

I hate to be mistaken as a younger person, it also happens to me a lot... You're 16 and already in college? You got in earlier? That seems great! :) I'm also 16 (even though my 17th birthday is this month, yeah!) but I'm in the twelfth grade. Can't wait for college! :)

Marina (marinamoura) | 1 comments Hello, guys,

I'm Marina, or Nina (I prefer Nina :)) and I'm from Rio, Brazil. My story with YA is different from the most part of you. I just started reading YA when I was 20 (i'm 22 now), since I spent most part of my teen years reading Adult Fiction. When i finally discover YA...I was blown away by how much this books can contribute to literature.

I love Fantasy AND contemporary YA. My tastes run from Cassandra Clare to John Green and J.D Salinger.
I'm definetly an eclectic reader.

Hope to find friends here.

Best

Harold (spacedeck) Hello, my name is Harold. I'm 23 years old, and in very new to reading. I've only started reading over the last few months. I have managed to read 3 books so far. None are YA from what i can gather (The Broken Man by Josephine Cox, Skulduggery Pleasant book 1, and Street Kid by Judy Westwater). I would like anyone to recommend me a good YA author and maybe even a book or two by that Author so i can begin my journey on reading YA books. Im amazed at how much a book can touch you and your imagination can run wild trying to pixie every scene. So hello everyone. It's good to be here.

Glad to have you join us! I would suggest Looking for Alaska by John Green (although I haven't read it yet, It seems to be getting a lot of good reviews), The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, The Princess Bride by William Goldman, The GIver Series (I've only read the Giver, It was pretty good), and last but cretainly not least The Mortal Intrument Series by Cassandra Clare! I could go on forever, but I suggest you read the summary and Reviews for each and choose whichever you are interested in!! Hope I helped!!

message 2334: by A.m.runyan (new)

A.m.runyan | 2 comments Hi I'm Avery. Currently 18 years old and in my first year of college, but I still enjoy reading yound adult books, especially books series like the Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and Artemis Fowl. Some of my favorite books off the top of my head are Graceling, Wizard's First Rule (not so much a young adult book, but it's a really good book), Ender's Game, and Jane Eyre.

I'm currently attempting to write a book. I've written most of it out now and I'm just trying to edit it. Grammar is my downfall, which is ironic because I love writing. I think I love more the story telling aspect than following the proper rules of communication.
