I wholeheartedly agree. 'English weather' and 'happyness' don't belong in the same sentence - unless you complaining about it.

Your father is so right, Alya! Speaking of the weather...I lived in very cold weather and in very hot weather, from Eastern Europe's winters to Palm Springs Ca summers.I actually like 4 seasons - you get everything. Virginia is nice.

I have just bought the Hunger Games because everyone is saying it's a great book - but from excerpts I see that it's written in the present tense. Does that not bother you as a reader? (just curious) :)
No it makes you experience everything as Katniss does and keeps action moving. That's why I chose to write Dreaming Dangerously that way.

Hi, everyone. My name is Rochelle. I'd have to say my favorite book is My Sweet Audrina and Flowers in the Attic. Both books by V. C. Andrews. I love reading. However, besides reading I like to play video games and keep up with my favorite TV series, the Vampire Diaries.
Hi guys. My name is Bethany, I'm in my 20's, and I really, really desperately want book friends. Wow, I don't sound crazy, do I? :/ I always thought it would be fun to be involved in a book club - but there aren't any in my area (Holland, Michigan), and I'm not the type of person to start something like that! I'm shy. Anyhow, I am a huge fan of YA books - though I am somewhat new to the genre. I've read all the BIG stuff, but I'm still catching up with everyone.
My favorite book is part of a series, the Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness. The Knife of Never Letting Go - my goodness, the most amazing book ever. Well, I actually like the third book, Monsters of Men, best. I'm so excited they are making a movie out of it!
I started a book blog a month ago, but it started to feel like work really fast. I read for pleasure, and when I found myself trying to cram more books into my week and actually taking NOTES while I read, I knew it was a mistake. I think a Goodreads vitural book club is just what I need. :)

Cassandra Clare is so amazing! And she's friends with Holly Black, isn't she? I was reading her Modern Fairy Tales series because two of HB's characters were in one of the Mortal Instruments books :) But Clockwork Princess AHHH :) BTW this is Judith. It's hot in Singapore all the time- near the Equator, and HELLO EVERYONE.

My name is Asiyah and I'm a teenager, so, naturally, I enjoy some good YA novels. My fave series is Harry Potter, but I also REALLY enjoy The Hunger Games series, The Maze Runner series, and the Percy Jackson series. Some novels I like are "Before I Fall" by Lauren Oliver and what I'm currently reading, "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. I know it's gonna be one of my faves! I have an affinity for fantasy, but I read any book that comes across my way that I find interesting. I hope to have fun in this cool group!
