Feel free to use these elsewhere. That's why I have this thread seperated from all the challenge ones.

From my list i finished Fire & Grave Sight. Going to start Bitten today :)

message 103: by Heather (new)

Heather (nickyblue7) finally starting the Looking Glass Wars and it seems pretty good. i love the hardcover one cuz it has such a cool texture on the actual book

message 104: by Angela (new)

Angela B I have started The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins which Shannon recommended for me :)

message 105: by Carrie (Care) (new)

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments I started The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness which I was really excited to read because so many people love it, but so far it is not keeping my interest. I am about a quarter of the way through so far so hopefully it picks up.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 827 comments I'm about to read that one too and I'm a bit afraid. So many people say it's amazing, but the writing takes time to get used to. I hope it picks up at some point at least!

message 109: by Suzanne (new)

Suzanne Did you like Still Missing? I thought it was good.

message 110: by Lisa S (new)

Lisa S (kasey_k_fan) I loved it. I listened to it on audio, and the narrator made it sound like she lived it.

Suzanne Lisa S wrote: "I loved it. I listened to it on audio, and the narrator made it sound like she lived it."

I read it and thought it made you feel like you were there. I can't wait to read the author's next book

message 112: by Lisa S (new)

Lisa S (kasey_k_fan) Me either

message 115: by Carrie (Care) (new)

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments So are we supposed to post our lists each time we finish a book for this one?

message 116: by Heather (new)

Heather T (horrorvacui000) | 5931 comments Mod
I don't know. I just did it. Here it doesn't matter since it's not for points and I don't have to sort through the mess of comments. On the other ones posting once if good because then I keep double checking your name every time it comes up and I ened up erasing a lot.

message 117: by Carrie (Care) (new)

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments I might just wait until I am finished to post mine again.

I'm still finding ways to distract myself from the books I own. =)

message 119: by Lisa S (new)

Lisa S (kasey_k_fan) Me too Heather!

message 120: by [deleted user] (new)

Fallen angels!!! I'm reading, though. I got it today!!! From borders!!

I will read Graceling! I will read P.C. Cast! .... Maybe if I repeat it enough in my head I'll do it. I just brought home another 10 library books.

message 122: by Lisa S (new)

Lisa S (kasey_k_fan) Trust me Heather, Graceling is fabulous.

Heather T (horrorvacui000) | 5931 comments Mod
i know, but that still doesnt make me pick it up yet. I had this issue with The Hunger Games too for some reason.

message 124: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jadorejas94) | 950 comments I'm having the same issue with Graceling Heather. I read HG because it was a book club book for school. If it weren't I probably would've had a hard time picking it up too.

message 125: by Angela (new)

Angela B BOTH OF YOU READ GRACELING OR SUFFER MY WRATH!

Did that help?:)

message 126: by Heather (new)

Heather T (horrorvacui000) | 5931 comments Mod
Nope. I threatened you with physical harm and it still took you 2 months to read Night Huntress. ;)

message 127: by Carrie (Care) (new)

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments Lol.

I liked Graceling, but didn't love it like most people. I haven't even read Fire yet because I just don't care. I probably should since a lot of people liked it better.

message 128: by Lisa S (new)

Lisa S (kasey_k_fan) LOL

I liked Fire better, but I also liked Graceling.

message 129: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jadorejas94) | 950 comments Didn't help me either, hehe. Too busy with the In Death series! xD

message 130: by Angela (new)

Angela B *mummbles and grubbles and sounds like an old lady because of it*

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 827 comments Carrie (Care) wrote: "Lol.

I liked Graceling alright but felt it had a slow start. I absolutely agree with not caring enough to want to read Fire. Will probably read Bitterblue though because Po will be making cameos.

Poison Study was better to me.

message 132: by Angela (new)

Angela B I loved both Graceling and Poison Study :)

message 133: by Heather (new)

Heather (nickyblue7) finished reading The Looking Glass Wars (Looking Glass Wars, #1) by Frank Beddor nd i have to say i was not very impressed by it

message 134: by Suzanne (new)

Suzanne So I just finished Graceling and loved it. It took about 50 pages for me to really get into it but once I did I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read Fire now.

Heather T (horrorvacui000) | 5931 comments Mod
I almost started it today, but didn't for some reason. I couldn't do it. I kept picking up books, reading a page and then putting them down and switching them out. I can't settle on what I want to read. I even picked up the P.C. Cast book that I have on here, but I put it down after a chapter.

How's everyone doing on this one? I need to get moving.

message 137: by Lisa S (new)

Lisa S (kasey_k_fan) I've read one that I own and three from my TBR. I'm starting on another I own (Every Which Way But Dead) next.

message 138: by Angela (new)

Angela B I so love Rachel :) I just read one of the short stories by Kim Harrison and Jenks was the main character, I loved it :)

message 139: by Angela (last edited Apr 11, 2011 01:13PM) (new)

Angela B As far as were I'm at I have only read 3 of mine so far, I've been spending more my time on the A-Z challenge.
So far I read The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins and Leaving Paradise (Leaving Paradise, #1) by Simone Elkeles from my owned list and

Full Moon Rising (Riley Jenson Guardian, #1) by Keri Arthur from the TBR suggestions

I enjoyed all 3 of them and just LOVED Hunger Games

A month and a half left!

message 141: by Lisa S (new)

Lisa S (kasey_k_fan) I was just thinking about this yesterday.

I thought I'd be further along last time. I'm going to set this up a little differently next time. I think it'll work better the way I have it in my head.

Heather T (horrorvacui000) | 5931 comments Mod
I'm finally getting started on my "Owned" list. I'm cutting it very close. Esp, since I have relatives in town all next week.

message 145: by Lisa S (new)

Lisa S (kasey_k_fan) I still have 2 of my own to read. But I'm laid off for the next two weeks so I think I can do it.

message 146: by Heather (new)

Heather T (horrorvacui000) | 5931 comments Mod
I'll get at least 2, maybe 3. Since I'm OCD about completing challenges, I just might manage to make it, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

message 147: by Heather (new)

Heather (nickyblue7) i have three left in my Own books to read and two of them will be so easy to read! But i have a huge book to read too in it!

message 148: by Angela (new)

Angela B Good luck to everyone trying to finish this up...I didn't do so hot on this one...I loved the idea though!

message 149: by Heather (new)

Heather T (horrorvacui000) | 5931 comments Mod
I think I'll set up a challenge where we recommned things for others, but not one where we have to read stuff we own since we seemed to be on the ball with the suggestions, but lagging on our own books.
