Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments For Joeera.

I apologize for being so late in posting this. I haven't been on much since getting back.

My 5 picks from your 10:
Beyond The Darkness (Guardians of Eternity, #6) by Alexandra Ivy Masquerade (Blue Bloods, #2) by Melissa de la Cruz My Soul to Keep (Soul Screamers, #3) by Rachel Vincent The Strange Power, The Possessed, The Passion (Dark Visions, #1-3) by L.J. Smith Wild Thing (Includes Warriors of Poseidon, #1.5; The Guardians, #1.5) by Maggie Shayne

And from your tbr list:
Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost One Foot in the Grave (Night Huntress, #2) by Jeaniene Frost Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1) by Rachel Hawkins Nightshade (Nightshade, #1) by Andrea Cremer Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3) by Richelle Mead Torment (Fallen, #2) by Lauren Kate Queen of Shadows (Shadow World, #1) by Dianne Sylvan The Summoning (Darkest Powers, #1) by Kelley Armstrong Nevermore by Kelly Creagh

A suggestion after reading through your books. I think you would like the Gardella Vampires series, and the first book is The Rest Falls Away (Gardella Vampire Chronicles, #1) by Colleen Gleason . It is the weakest in the series as they get better and better.

Some of the ones on your tbr list I hadn't heard of so I didn't pick them. I tried to pick ones I had read or I've seen great reviews for that I thought you would like. ;) I am excited to read the ones you picked for me!

I see you are from Laval. My husband used to own a transport truck and we used to go there all the time years ago. Not that we got to do much, as we were mostly in the truck, but I miss those days.

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments Lol. I had 14 up there and erased 4. I could have sworn I erased the right ones. That's what I get for going on the computer with a migraine. I can't remember what the others were so I will do it tomorrow when I can get a chance to look again.

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments Thanks Heather. For some reason I always end up with my neck killing me and migraines after a trip. I don't know if it is the drive or sleeping in a different bed (I bring my pillow at least).

There's a little x at the end of the line of the info concerning each book. You click on that and they'll ask if you want to delete.

Night Huntress is worth the 7.99 if you're even remotely tempted, btw.

message 63: by Carrie (Care) (new)

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments You don't want to read Night Huntress or Hex Hall? All you have to do is go to your to read shelf and delete it from there.

I can see not being interested in Hex Hall, but I was one of the few that wasn't impressed. We'll convince her of NH eventually. =)

What's nice is that generally you can find something from the TBR pick that will turn out to be good. I only have 4 of mine that are at the library, but of those 4 two have amazing ratings and the other two are suppose to be pretty good as well.

message 83: by Shannon Carly (last edited Feb 09, 2011 07:12PM) (new)

Okay, I'm hoping to read it this month.

Three Days to Dead is interesting. I didn't love it though. Something was missing and I didn't connect to it. It's one of those books that was on the line. It had some great scenes, but it was easy to put down for some reason. One day I'll have to give book 2 a try and see how it goes.

I felt the same way..it was very interesting but something seemed to be missing...I have no idea what was missing....I do have the second book but have not felt an overwhelming urge to read it yet

I think Heather said we can use these books in other challenges here. This is more just for fun, no points (I think).
