Leea I need to start reading the 'In death' series again... I love the first one.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Holy cow...29? I thought it was only around 20 still!

message 103: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) It's actually higher then that now. The newest one will be 34. It's crazy.

message 104: by Leea (new)

Leea that's crazy!!! I would never be able to keep up :) Is the story still good? Same Characters? hmmm?

message 105: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) The same characters, all with a new case to solve. It's like Nancy Drew for adults, but the difference is that the books do progress. The characters get married and have babies, and their lives move along with the stories. I've read almost all of them (I'm about 3 behind, 33 and 34 haven't been released yet), and I can honestly say that it's the only long series I've ever read that remains consistently good. They have ALL been solid 4 star books.

message 106: by Leea (new)

Leea Oh great!! I just downloaded the 2nd and 3rd book... I really liked the first one but at the time my library did not have Glory in Death and now i've got them all in ebook form. Yay!

message 107: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I wouldn't read them back to back. There's so many and back to back would probably burn you out. I've been reading them since there were only about 8 or nine in the series, so I read them in between lots of other books.

message 108: by Leea (new)

Leea great idea! Thanks!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) If it can be compared to Nancy Drew for adults, I could see why there'd be no need to have to read them back to back.

I am a horrible series finisher. There are some series that I really like and still haven't finished.

message 110: by Leea (new)

Leea It's hard to keep track sometimes... There are so many good books out there to read and with group reads, buddy reads and challenges you can get overwhelmed. Oh, that just might be me :) Amy have you read the first in death book?

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I have not. The long series thing threw me off. I really do plan on it at some point.

message 112: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Yeah, I let a year go by sometimes and then read like 3 in a row, then take another break. I would read them in order though, just because it does follow their lives. And it could introduce a new character that will be reoccuring. Each case is unique though.
