Welcome, Rob. I'm hoping your book is fantasy-I don't read much Scifi, but didn't find a synopsis of anything upcoming on Amazon. Also, as a kindle only reader, I recommend that you see that your book gets an ebook version.

I am really looking forward to your contributions as I follow you on twitter! I also tried to find a little information on your forthcoming release but was unable to on amazon. I will, of course, keep an eye out for it!
I have only just joined the group - I signed up for goodreads sometime ago but have only just started to really utilise the site. This is mainly to help keep track of my reading since this year I am re-reading the BBC Top 100 books again.
I am a writer wannabe currently undergoing the difficult process of writing my first fantasy novel.
Nice to "meet" you.
Eliza

My name is Cheryl Landmark and I'm the author of a young adult fantasy novel called Wind and Fire. I absolutely love fantasy; it's my preferred genre in both reading and writing. And, it seems like I'm not alone! I'm amazed at how popular fantasy and sci-fi are, but I can totally understand it, too.

Take care!
J.M.

I love fantasy and sci-fi--some of my favorite reads have been Deerskin, The Shape-Changer's Wife, The Snow Queen, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dune, The Lord of the Rings, and The Chronicles of Narnia. Complex, believable characters can redeem just about any book, in my opinion. I also enjoy Renaissance history and all things gothic, two major threads that run through my fantasy series about the House of Landers. The Witch Awakening and Tapestry Lion are the first two books in this series; I hope to have the third book out later this year.
Happy reading, all~
Karen

I'm an avid reader. Have been all my life. I'm very excited to see that there is a place for people like me to comment about what they are reading, and pick up a good book recommendation that I wouldn't have looked at before. I absolutely love Sharon Shinn and Robin McKinley, I own all their books and am eagerly waiting for new ones to come out. I also love YA authorL.J. Smith. I've read her books sense Jr.High. I have not watched the tv version of Vampire Dairies. And I won't, the books are better and I don't want to ruin it.
I'm happy to be here and I look forward to finding new books to read.

Also I am, like Eliza, a wannabe author and I am attempting to put together a fantasy novel or short story. If anyone's interested let me know! =)

I look forward to being a part of this group and hope to find a lot of new authors to enjoy.

Hi All,
I'm a writer and reader. I especially like fantasy, sci-fi, supernatural, mystery and thrillers. As long as the topic interests me, I am open-minded. I look forward to getting to know you.

I just joined the group and am looking forward to taking part in all the fun. I've been a geek my entire life. Hey, it was inevitable! In case you couldn't guess, my parents were Tolkein freaks. A few of my fave authors areKate Elliott, Terry Brooks Andre Norton( I think I've read everything she wrote),Leslie Ann Moore (the elves in her Griffin's Daughter series are refreshingly human), and indie author Mike Robinson. There are many more, too many to list here.
Anyway, let's discuss!!

I'm Steve and I've just joined this group and thought you might be interested in reading a free copy of my debut novella: Candyfloss Guitar. It's just out and FREE for a few days on Kindle (until Saturday). So naturally I'd love some feedback.
Candyfloss Guitar is a mystical journey about a young flamenco guitarist on the road to Santiago in northern Spain, shaking off the ghosts of his past and searching for meaning on the road.
“A Gabriel Garcia Marquez-style tale of self-discovery kissed by the supernatural. Short, lovely and satisfying.” - Acclaimed spiritual fantasy author Laura K. Cowan, author of Music of Sacred Lakes & Thin Places: Supernatural Tales of the Unseen
I hope you like it.
Thanks
Steve
