You can have my share of the brownies.

Susan | 6406 comments ::gives Jim meaty lasagna in exchange for brownies::

Thank you, Jim! Best deal ever. :)

message 60: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments I suppose I'll have to share whatever LG's neice is having. Or just watch.

Evie, have some cashews. Here.

You don't eat chocolate, Evie?

I do, especially easter eggs.

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
It's almost Cadbury Creme Egg season.

message 66: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments The other day I was searching the valentine candy for cherry cordial kisses with you in mind, LG.
I know you said you didn't think they were in the valentine candy lineup but I just had to make sure.
It really doesn't make sense because they would be perfect for the season.

message 67: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
It makes no sense at all. It is completely senseless. Very upsetting.

If I'm walking around with ashes on my forehead, it must be so.

message 69: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

message 70: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

message 71: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
Oh no, I'm just swiffing my floors.

message 72: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Wet swiff or dry swiff?

message 73: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
Dry.

message 74: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Still worth doing.

message 75: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
You know what's hilarious, and by that I mean totally not hilarious, is on a really windy day if I've forgotten to close my chimney, the ashes in the fireplace will get blown partway into the living room. I've got to remember to remove the ashes after having a fire.

message 76: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Or shut the flue.

message 77: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
Yes.

message 78: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Ugh.

But nice that you have a fireplace!

message 79: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
Very nice. I lurve my fireplace.

message 80: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments And remember to open it again.

message 81: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
Never forget.

message 82: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Did it happen on a Wednesday?

message 83: by [deleted user] (new)

The mr is doing the whole ashes on the forehead thing... Not I. We aren't even Catholic. I get its symbolic, but I dot need the symbolism, thanks.

message 84: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments The one service for Easter that I remember attending was excruciatingly long. It took place at night, I fell asleep in the pew and then had to be woke up to walk around the church three times. I don't think I went to church again except for a couple of funerals after that.

message 85: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmmm. I likes the cherry cordials...I'll have to try those!

message 86: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Where did you get them?

message 87: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
I also checked Target and they didn't have them. LAME. Seriously, Target's holiday candy section was pathetic.

message 88: by Félix (last edited Feb 13, 2013 05:36PM) (new)

Félix (habitseven) I can't stand uncordial cherries. So rude.

message 89: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I went to Target, too. I always expect more out of their holiday spread and it just ends up being a tiny corner of the store. Seriously lame.

message 90: by [deleted user] (new)

Maybe you have to get them in Canada?

message 91: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
They're on Amazon, but 3x what I paid for them at CVS.

message 92: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments The brownies that I tasted were made in a slab and then cut in squares after they were baked.

Is this not a traditional method for brownie baking?

message 93: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I like a medium sized brownie. I sometimes enjoy a brownie with vanilla ice cream on top.

message 94: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
I haven't eaten a brownie in ages.

message 95: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I haven't had one in at least three months.

message 96: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments I'm embarrassed about my brownie comment.

message 97: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
I didn't want to say anything, but yes, you should be deeply deeply ashamed.

message 98: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments Oh, Dog. I was thinking about some round brownies I saw in another thread when I responded to Charly's question. Maybe even chocolate chip cookies.

message 99: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I never confuse a chocolate chip cookie with a brownie.

message 100: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments I rest my case.
