I thought we were reading poison study next month. Is this statement correct - the format of the group doesn't show what you should be currently reading this month it shows what your discussing this month, so you look to what your discussing next month and read that now? In my other groups the book that is shown for the current month is the book your suppose to read. what I mean is if Avampartha is shown that would mean I would NOW read that book. I am not worried I read already read both, just trying to understand the format. Sorry!
Ahh Ha! That's why when you go to this link it doesn't show this groups book read: http://www.goodreads.com/group/list/6...I clicked on groups --> then under 'my groups' I selected more to get that link. I like looking there to see what books I am suppose to be reading but this group is always empty.

Oh, I see what you mean. I'm not sure why that is. I'll look into it.
This group has always read a book one month, then discussed it in the next. I posted the suggested changes to group format in the Group Information folder under New Moderators.
Changing to read/discuss the same month is the first change and seems to be agreeable with everyone.
Qylie wrote: "Thanks Sleo"I fixed the group view so you can click on your list of books and see that we're reading and discussing Avempartha.
I've just finished reading "The Gods of Amyrantha" by Jennifer Fallon and am now starting "The Palace of Impossible Dreams."

Starting a second book of a trilogy: Troy: Shield of Thunder by David Gemmell. Can't wait, the first one was great.
Dawn wrote: "How is the narrator on that, Sandra?"The man is ok. Haven't heard the woman yet. Same narrators as Sanderson's new book.
Dawn wrote: "I've always wanted to do a re-read of WoT on audio, just to switch it up. That's why I asked :)"Well, if you enjoyed it the first time, it would probably be enjoyable. Although I read Dune years ago and loved it and recently listened to the audio version and found it silly, the dialogue laughable, although I still liked the worm and the planet... and the Fremen.
Dawn wrote: "I've always wanted to do a re-read of WoT on audio, just to switch it up. That's why I asked :)"Maybe you could listen to the first six books abridged on cassette.

Hey, at least they give new covers to The Eye of the World and The Great Hunt.
Here is something else we will never agree on, if it in the same topic.
:DBack on topic, I'm currently reading Red Seas Under Red Skies, and I really really like it so far.

Those are on my list.

Just bought this and rather looking forward to reading it! Glad it's good so far.
Michael wrote: "I started Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians to see what Sanderson does for a younger audience. It is ok, and a little confusing at the outset. I should finish it today and then I wi..."The prequel isn't out either, as far as I know :(
I read Seer of Sevenwaters by Juliet Marillier. It was excellent, although not as resonant as the original trilogy. I'm currently reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, which I really like so far.
Yeah, I know, the dates are seriously wrong. I've never been able to figure out what's up with that :P
Well yeah.. I more so meant I don't know what's up with the release dates not being pushed back, so it doesn't look like it's already released. Normally when a date comes and goes it's pushed back a couple years.. Not so with the prequel.
Ursus: In the Shadow of the Bear last book in the series D: (saddening) and i might finally get around to reading The City of Ember or i might do that next month
Currently reading Breakfast at Tiffany's: a bit of a classic that I've never got round to before now!
new to the group.i just finished The Warded Man and instantly started The Desert Spear, really enjoying it.
Just started Peril's Gate and then I shall continue through the rest. I am really enjoying this series :)
Meg wrote: "Just started Peril's Gate and then I shall continue through the rest. I am really enjoying this series :)"Oh good! I love it too. There's a discussion in the series group, if you'd like to join in. It's about to finish up but it's never too late to join in.

Yes, it's Poison Study. We are shortly going to be changing the group format to read/discuss the same book each month. The discussion this month is Avampartha.
