Sarah | 13814 comments I hate falling asleep on the couch, but it usually only happens to me if I'm really really tired and I probably should have just gone to bed anyhow. I always drag myself to bed once I realize it.

janine | 7709 comments i don't have a couch at the moment, but when i did i always dragged myself to bed when i'd fallen asleep on it. waking up in bed is much more comfortable.

message 3: by Ken (new)

Ken (playjerist) | 721 comments I avoid that problem by never leaving the bed to begin with.

message 4: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Chicken/egg.

message 5: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Why is there a chicken on the couch with you, Larry? The only place I've seen that is in Pink Flamingos, and that was a very wrong scene.

message 6: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Don't let the egg slide down between the cushions Larry - nothing good can come from that.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I go to bed. Wait, I brush and floss, put on my pjs, and then I go to bed. Where the alarm clock is.

message 9: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments I can't sleep on the sofa for any great length of time. Back, hip, and knees all tell me to go to bed.

message 10: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) I don't often sleep on the couch and when I do, it's intentional.

I will often wake up in bed and come out to my recliner to sleep. If I'm sick, having anxiety, or the husband is snoring up a storm, I'll find my way to my chair.

Busted.

Larry's SUPPOSED to be behind the ficus... not on the couch.

Sarah | 13814 comments I try to get Bo to stay off the couch, but I know he sneaks up there when I'm not home. Is this like that?

message 13: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Uh ... what'd I do now?

Do you even have to ask?

message 15: by Jonathan (last edited Jan 06, 2011 12:34PM) (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Put the ficus in front of the couch and have a seat.

message 16: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Does anyone think to ask the Ficus where it wants to be?

message 17: by Jammies (new)

Jammies If I fell asleep on the couch, which I haven't done in years, then when I wake up enough to know where I am, I will go to bed. It's not likely to happen any time soon, though.

I've had some quite long talks with it Larry, basically it will go where it's put, it just wants to be loved.

message 19: by Gatorman (new)

Gatorman I go to bed. It's the only place with the alarm clock.

message 20: by Lori (new)

Lori Ha, for the past year I've been mostly sleeping on the couch. I fall asleep there, and then even when I get up for the inevitable bathroom rum (<---see what I did there?), I dive back onto the couch, it's where all my things have accumulated including water bottle, and the table light is still on in case I want to read. But I've decided to stop that, my back is killing me, and have rediscovered my wonderful bed. Richard is NOT happy, he claims I steal the blankets.

I used to often doze off on the couch when I had a very long commute that would render me comatose by 10:30. But I never stayed there long, it just wasn't comfortable enough.

Lori, are you making rum in your bathtub?

message 22: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments If so, a useful talent.

message 23: by The Ficus (new)

The Ficus | 72 comments I like it by the window just fine, thank you very much. If you stash Larry behind me that's fine; But my roots get all stretchy and dry when you move me about like this.
