Deana (ablotial) | 15 comments I'm new to this librarian thing (just started yesterday) so I am trying to figure out how everything works without messing it up too much.

I have this book, "Weird and Wonderful Words". http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/20...

If you look under "other editions", it lists "Totally Weird and Wonderful Words". I suspected this was not really another edition due to differences in illustrators, page numbers, etc. After further research, It appears that "Totally ..." is indeed a separate book, though it contains all(? I think) of the words in my book and one other book by the same author, as well as a few extras. The author herself confirms this inn the comments on the "Totally..." page on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1GSK3CK...

I guess these books need to be UN-merged, but that seems complicated. One of the reviewers specified "Totally" in their review, but ...

Advice? Someone else want to take it over and let me know what you did so I can learn for the future? Thanks for your advice :)

Abcdarian | 26579 comments I clicked on the author's (editor's) name, then on "combine editions", then clicked "separate" beside "Weird and Wonderful Words" & hey presto, they are listed as two separate works.

Hope this is clear -- thanks for posting!

Deana (ablotial) | 15 comments Oh! I saw that separate link, but I was afraid that in separating I would have to do something about the comments, and the books on people's shelves and so forth. But I guess the site keeps track of which edition we comment on/shelve so it's not an issue. If I'd known it was that easy, I would have done it myself!

Thanks for letting me know what you did so I'll know how to do it in the future. Best way to learn :)
