Jasmine Tran (jasminet8924) | 5 comments There's a young girl dressed as a boy who joins a traveling troupe. The main male character is named Jack and is in charge of the troupe. There is a fat lady on the cover of the novel. I feel like the title has the words "fortune" "wheel" maybe even "Jack." I read this book 10-12 years ago.

:SPOILER:

Jack finds out the young boy is a young girl. The young girl falls in love with Jack. They have an illicit love affair. The troupe or just the young girl travels to Jack's estate and finds out that he is a gentleman of some sort. We find out later that Jack is engaged to another young woman who has the pox. The pox woman and young girl becomes friends because the pox woman does not know that they the other two are lovers. The reader finds out that the pox woman contracts the disease from Jack's brother and kills the brother.
