Jessica | 5 comments This book was published sometime before 2000. It was an adult novel and I think the main character was a woman who left her old life behind to learn how to make chocolates. I vaguely remember her going to a fancy cooking school in France and then eventually coming back to the US and opening up her own chocolate shop or possibly working in someone else's shop. There may have been a romance storyline also but all I really remember is the delicious chocolate descriptions! Thank you for your help!

Jessica | 5 comments No...although that is a great book too. The one I'm remembering wasn't that well-known. Thanks anyway though!

The Chocolate Bear Burglary series possibly? The main character gives up her 'previous life as a trophy wife' to go to the home town of her Aunt and Uncle and help them in their chocolate shop

Jessica | 5 comments No...neither of those. I wish I could remember more details to narrow it down but nothing else is coming to me.

Oh, the mc in the series I mentioned has her Aunt and Uncle head off to Europe to learn the art of chocolatiering. So they have a VERY good chocolate shop.

I have been looking for the same book and was kindly referred to your thread. It was driving me nuts for years as well! And now I found it supercheap on Amazon (Germany)! Just 1 Cent. :o)
