I have been trying to lend a book to a friend. The book is lendable, has not been lent out before and I have sent her books before with no problem. When trying to send this last book, all I get is a box saying "Sorry, your lendme request is not possible" Has anyone else had this problem? HATE calling customer service so I'm gonna fish around on here before sitting on hold for half an hour lol. Thanks! :0)

I had that problem once. I just waited a few hours and tried again and it worked.
I had that same problem right after Christmas. At first I thought it was because the B&N server was busy with people visiting and using their gift cards. I was lending a book to my friend who had a brand new Nook with the 1.4 software. She was having trouble fully downloading anything at all - it was literally creeping along with any download and then failing. She tried unregistering several times. We thought she had a lemon, but a few day later, her Nook uploaded 1.5 on its own and then finally downloaded my lended book. It was weird, but she is happy now!
I had that happen with a book that was briefly a Nook freebie, which is when I got it. For some reason, I can't lend that book no matter what I do. I wonder if they have some kind og block on Lend Me if you didn't buy the book.
