Elizabeth (elizabethoverton) | 11 comments For anyone who's interested, there is actually a book of artwork and descriptions of the characters and locations in Discworld that you may want to check out!

It's called The Art of Discworld: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Art_....

Fidrox | 4 comments There is also a made for TV movie (I think) that come out this year in the UK. From what i saw it looks pretty darn good for a tv movie, a lot better then the ones we have here in the states.

HeyT | 504 comments The TV movie was brilliant. I was surprised at how close to the book it was. It really helped me to visualize/flesh out the characters in my mind.

Angie | 342 comments So you can't rent it? Was it on the BBC? I don't think posting the link for the movie is a bad thing Fidrox. I post links all the time. Unless it's from like Kazaa or something then I think it's all good.

C Jon Tice | 11 comments I seen they have Hogfather on Netflix and just put it on my list. I'm interested to see how it turns out.

Angie | 342 comments What is Hogfather?

message 8: by Jen (new)

Jen (squirrelgirl) It's a Discworld "Christmas" story. To be honest, it was one of my least favorites, but I also have it on my netflix list. I'm definitely interested in seeing the world visualized.

Leslie Ann (leslieann) | 185 comments I watched 'Hogfather' when it was broadcast last year. Knowing nothing about Discworld, I didn't have the memory of a book to compare it to. I found the acting to be uneven, which was disappointing because one of the main roles was played by a fave Brit actor of mine, Mark Warren. Overall, though, I enjoyed it.

Michael (bigorangemichael) | 187 comments Hogfather was shown in the US and is availalbe on DVD.

As far as I know, Color of Magic has only been shown in the UK and there is not a US showing or DVD release of it yet.

I would be willing to bet that there are some instances of the Color of Magic showing up on YouTube...or if you use a special attenae...

Michael (bigorangemichael) | 187 comments I watched Hogfather and while it was good, had I not read the book previously, I'd have been a bit more confused.
