I WILL read at least 50 books this year! My personal goal is 75 but it has to be at least 50. I love challenges so this will be one that I must live up to. I am also a member of the 1001 books to read before you die so about 95% of my books will be from that list.

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings By Maya Angelou was Ok. After reading this novel, I have no strong feelings toward it. It was like the book just ended but after it was over I didn't love it but I didn't hate it, it was ok. I would have liked to have more of an opinion about it or rather even wanted to hate it, at least I would have had a reaction from it. It was just blah.
Old Man and The Sea was a nicely written quick read. It was a little to simple of a story for me but other than that it was alright.
Laws of Attraction- I thought over all it was alright but just a little too poltergeist for me.
Gone With the Wind was a beautiful and long book but it was worth it. At first i didn't think I would like ti but I fell in love with it.
Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, very nice short stories rolled into one book, 4 stars.
The Godfather was an amazing book, surprisingly I have never seen the movie but it ws a great novel 5 stars
A Christmas Carol was alright 2 stars

Rose
Actually, I didn't know too much about it before reading it. I just didn't feel one way or another about it. Usually you either have strong feelings of like or dislike after reading a novel, but this just gave me a "blah" feeling.
The Secret History- it was good, 3 stars
Native Son by Richard Wright, 5 stars, definitely the best book I have read this year

I loved the Da Vinci Code it had so many unexpected twists

I haven't read any of his other books yet, that was my first. Do you like them?

I am loving the Women's Murder Club Series by Patterson.

Left Behind- absolutely love it definitely will continue the series
I like it so far I have been reading my other books first though so I'm only on like 50 pages into it
