Q's Legacy - must read 84, Charing Cross Road and The Duchess of Bloomsbury Street first before reading Q's Legacy otherwise you might not appreciate it as much or even understand it.

Sebab itu saya selalu tawar hati bila nak baca buku2 tulisan orang yang tak tulis namanya dengan jelas (conntoh Abu ## atau Ibnu ## atau buku terjemahan yang tak dikenali siapa penterjemahnya. Takut salah, dahlah kita tak pandai..jadi tersesat pulak. En. Khairul banyak membaca, jadi mudah nak berhujah, macam saya ni, tak cukup kuat lagi..jadi saya jauhkan awal2.

No Hero - Keciwa. Mempunyai potensi untuk menjadi sebuah buku fantasi-seram yg mengujakan tetapi protagonis yg tidak menarik perhatian saya untuk bersimpati dengannya membuat saya bosan dengan buku ini.

      I did. Lemme check.
Turns out I did review the book but the edition I read and the edition I linked above were not combined so the link did not take you to my review. Confusing? Yes. Anyway, all the Giant rat books are combined now so you can see my review (which is the same review from my blog).
EDIT: I realised the edition I reviewed wasn't even the edition I owned. That's the US edition, mine is the UK one.

Haunted Heart: The Life and Times of Stephen King Interesting only because I know very little about King. This memoir is actually a copy and paste job from previously published interviews. That is the extent of Lisa Rogak's work. She never really sat down with King and asked him questions.

If you like to read about a woman getting raped all the time, you'll love Habibi. Disappointing. Gorgeous artwork but shallow story. 1 star.

Both books aren't bad but I was expecting more than they actually delivered so I was disappointed with them both.

In an effort to make my target of 100 books read before the end of the year, I've resorted to reading mostly graphic novels this week.

The Disappearing Spoon: And Other True Tales of Madness, Love, and the History of the World from the Periodic Table of the Elements
I blame myself for not really enjoying this book. I'm more of a history buff than a science geek but I was curious so I gave this book a try because it promised to discuss the history of chemical science and the personalities involved. While it did deliver that, it did not capture my interest enough. I found myself skimming paragraphs to get to the interesting historical anecdotes.
