Just finished
. I'm so sad this series has finished. I just want to go back and reread it all over again, it was amazing. However, it has made me super excited for the spin-off, I think it's out this year (maybe, don't quote me on that)!!

At the moment I'm reading The Great Hunt and also Catching Fire on my Kindle. They are both really quite good, though the Robert Jordan is taking up much of my attention at the moment!

It was brilliant. I'll never forget it. Totally worth the floods of tears and the near-addiction to HEAs for a few weeks afterwards.
Read
the prequel to 13 to Life which prepped me for the release of the sequel next month. FYI, it's a Kobo freebie. Also restarted
I can't wait to read Forbidden. I finally tracked down a copy and plan to read it in the next few weeks. :) I am currently reading:
-- I keep tring to start this book but I am not overly into it right now. Also about to start
I still haven't got a copy of Forbidden, but I'm hoping to find a copy soon. I heard so many great things about it.Regina, I feel the same about Lady of Light and Shadows. I loved the first book in the series, but somehow I just can't get myself to start on #2.
I'm currently reading
.
Regina--where did you find Forbidden? I've been on a hunt for it too. I thought I might be able to snag it from Book Depository, since it's in the UK, but it's out of stock there. I finally found it at abebooks.com, which seems to be a sort of Amazon Marketplace, with a bunch of sellers offering it. And of course, the cheapest is from Book Depository. They claim--through abebooks.com--that they have 9 in stock. Then why does your main site say it's out of stock? So I'm nervous to buy that one.
But I will get this book, dammit. It seems that since the publisher decided to release it in the US in hardcover in June, they are trying really hard to keep it out of US hands until then.
OK 5 stars for
and now I'm reading my Bingo book, which is also the first book for Jaz Parks We Love You
Good so far.
I gave up on
after only 74 pages. My first DNF and 1 star book of the year. Not that I give up on many books completely in the first place.I also read a sample of
to see if I want to continue with the series. The answer was no. But it's a soft no.

How'd you like the prequel, Ames. I grabbed that freebie too. I was thinking of starting that series this year and was happy to spot the prequel before I start it.
Completed my first audiobook Kitty and the Dead Man's Hand! My library has a decent collection, so I've tried multiple times and failed. I wanted something to listen to while knitting and surprisingly, I got through it this time. It's different than reading, kinda slow. But as for the book, I liked it, but maybe woulda liked it more if I read it?
I'm taking a little break from Catching Fire, since I've come to a point were I'd rather not read than continue (mood reader. (view spoiler)), and have started Skin Trade. I will finish it however, I just have to read something else for a little while!
Sandra J wrote: "I'm rereading In Too Deep."Bummer, I'm still waiting on my copy to arrive. Hurray up Mr Postman!
@Steph -Nothing much happened in Beasts and BFFs but it was funny and entertaining. It also reminded me who was who and what had happened in the debut.Earlier I read
, a UF novella with m/m romance. I'm definitely going to read the next in the series.
Rebecca wrote: "I'm taking a little break from Catching Fire, since I've come to a point were I'd rather not read than continue (mood reader. [spoilers removed])..."I thought that about CF at first until the Game started. It was completely different, far more complicated and hazardous than in the first book.
Regina wrote: "Ames, I just got that from Amazon after I read your review it looks great."Er...I haven't written a review. LMAO! I did "like" Michelle's review though so maybe you read that. It said everything I would want to say about it.
Sandra wrote: "Sandra J wrote: "I'm rereading In Too Deep."Bummer, I'm still waiting on my copy to arrive. Hurray up Mr Postman!"
It's worth the wait. I loved Fallon and Isabella. And the beginning of a new trilogy? Oh, yes.

Well that's good to hear! I will not give it up in any case.

Glad to hear that Sandra, looking forward to it, as always :)
I finished
today and it was great. If you're a UF fan, definitely read this series. The first book is good, the second really gets rolling, and I loved the third. But I'm a solid UF fan--I love getting to know the characters a little more in each book, it just makes them so much more fleshed out. And some lovely sexual tension, to boot. :)I'm starting my reread of Dreamfever tomorrow, to get me in the right frame of mind for Shadowfever. :)
I'm glad you liked it, Laura. I have that one TBR and enjoy that series as well.I'm starting my Fever re-read (audiobook) this week, preppin' too. :)
I have started
on my Kindle. I am enjoying it so far. I am on Chapter 3. I also have an ARC of
from netgalley on my computer. HG has most of my attention right now. I will probably finish it before going back to Delirium.
Picked up a bunch of goodies from the library today, including The Hunger Games which I'm hella apprehensive about. I'll read that last.Currently Reading:
How are you liking Magic Bites so far, Lethal? It is my absolute favourite series!I'm currently reading
and I'm loving it so far.
I literally just started it, Kerstin. Like I'm still on the first page. LOL! But I hear from mucho friends that this series is good, even if MB suffers from FIS.I loved WDoaWN! Bowen. Yum. But not as yum as my boyfriend, Cadeon. *Lethal swoons*
Well, I hope you enjoy it. And even if you think it has a few flaws, don't worry, the series just gets better and better.Oh yes, Bowen... He could throw me over his shoulder caveman-style any day to whisk me away, lol!
Seems like I have to hurry up and get to Cadeons book then, to check out your boyfriend ;)
Finally finished Jaz 2 and started
last night. Enjoying it so far. About 5% in, so still lots to go yet.
Steph I got that free awhile back, so I am interested to see what you think. I am reading
and
And work for me and school for the kids is cancelled tomorrow as supposedly the blizzard of the century pounds down on us! So I hope I will have some reading time.
I'm currently reading
. I accidentily downloaded this freebie (from Kobo) on my phone whilst browsing, opened it up to see what it was like before deleting and kept going. It's quite funny. 31% in so far.
Regina, be safe! I'll let ya know about Scent. Hope you enjoy Mind Games. I'll be reading that one soon also. Too funny, Ames. Gotta love it when that happens though. :)
Regina wrote: "And work for me and school for the kids is cancelled tomorrow as supposedly the blizzard of the century pounds down on us! So I hope I will have some reading time."SNOWPOCALYPSE!!!
I can't tell how much snow is coming down because the wind is so insane, I don't know if the snow blowing is new, or the stuff that was on the ground. It is so crazy windy here, but that's what I get for living in the middle of a corn field. ;) How's it by you guys?
LLL, you made the radio news this morning so it must be bad, cause we've got bushfires, super temps and the cyclone of the century about to hit Queensland.
It's crazy! And lol it is a snowpocalypse. I have also heard it called the Groundhog Dump. I got stuck at work with some emergency motions and got on the train around 4:30. The walk home from the train was insane! Right now I am reading posts on FB from nearby friends whose power is out!! Yeah I agree with you the wind sounds like a train or a scary monster. I hope the trees and power lines stay up. So happy to be inside.
Regina wrote: "We made the Australian news?"Yeah, how about that? Our Blizzard of 2011, aka The Groundhog Dump, is international, baby.
Our power hasn't gone completely out yet, it just keeps dimming & flashing & graying out every few minutes for the last 2 hours. I was cooking dinner and every time it happened, the oven would turn off and I'd have to get off my lazy butt and go turn it back on again. Annoying.
It is always windy by us--so when it's windy for everyone else, it's crazy here. If you look out at my front yard, you can still see the grass through the snow. Then if you look out a side window, there are 2 foot drifts against my porch. And if you look out the back, there are huge drifts and little snow tornados on my back patio. It's like the wind is coming from 3 different directions. And the big snow is supposedly just starting--7pm thru 3am. I do believe this is gonna be a doozy. ;)
Thanks Sandra. :) Kids have no school tomorrow, Mike & I don't have to go to work, we're hunkered down and won't be going anywhere for the next 24 hours. :)

Me too! I actually went as far as borrowing the first one from the library once but I didn't get to it. I'll try again one day. I always love me a good UF series :)
