hey you can read, The Dark Half by Stephen King! its a bit slow but a fantastic plot!!!

I know we are only allowed to suggest one book but I would like to second the Inkheart Trilogy in Meenakshi's list. So since two us are suggesting it maybe you could include it in the list of 12 for the polls..

Since this list is open till Jan 10th, if there aren't 12 books suggested by that time, we may include inkheart also, is that ok Smitha?But as u guys say it's a trilogy, how do u suppose we should go about it? Including all three books of the trilogy in a month might be a squeeze, right?

If Akanksha agrees to be the lead reader, I have added Inkheart 1 to the list as Meenakshi and Balkha have already suggested other books.(triology may be difficult to finish and discuss in a month's time)
Smitha can i suggest a book that i have already read but i want others to read n for it to be included in a group read discussion ??

Yes Inkheart trilogy is good but yes it is a series of 3 books so I am sure it will be difficult for people to read the entire series in a month.
for those who love to be thrilled or gasp while reading...Ring is still my first choice but for those who like a milder stuff...go for Alchemist, it would have the maximum participation received as many have already read it!

@ Anbu! No offense buddy but LOST SYMBOL!!! it was the most disappointing of all Dan Brown for me! Don't you think DaVinci or Angels or Deception or Digital are wayyyy better than it!!!

@Prerak.. There was nothing offense in it mate.:). I felt the Lost symbol is a good read.. In my view deception point was a disappointing Dan Brown book..
@ Anbu, i agree and if i had to put the books in order, Deception Point would definitely take the fourth position out of 5!
And the fifth would be Lost Symbol! By the way Smitha, i'd like to suggest Of Men and Mice by Steinback.
Okay Smitha, i'll take up the discussion for Inkheart. We wouldn't read all the books in Feb, we'll read the first one and then, if people like it we can go for second, otherwise, the ones who want to read the rest can do it personally.

No..As we have these many members, more people will get their say if the number is 12.
