Just finished
(sooo good) and now I'm on to
. It's eerily similar to Glow so far but I"m going to keep going. I hopefully will be meeting these authors at the RT convention and want to know their work.
Ok ok I'm soooooo late but I'm going to start The Host today :P I def wanna read this one before the movie comes out. It's already all over magazine covers with all these hot actors :) lol
Just finished What Really Happened in Peru?. Anyone else read it yet...any Magnus Bane fans out there?
I love Magnus. He's my favorite after Jace. I actually just saw a little ad for that book. I don't know if I'll read it. Was it good?
Magnus adventures...you have to read it!! Some pretty funny stuff. A little sad. I liked it and it was quick. Clockwork Princess was her best book yet, I think. I was bawling and laughing and bawling...such good writing.
Renee wrote: "I'm reading the Rot and Ruin series byJonathan Mayberry."I think I may have an ecopy of that somewhere to read...
I just finished reading
, today I'll get
as soon as I synchronize my Kindle and I'll start reading it.
Carey wrote: "Just starting Quintana of Charyn. Not Dystopian, but an amazing series none-the-less."I just finished it last week. Prepare yourself for epicness. It was fantastic!!
Christen wrote: "I am reading
Lauren by Julia Crane. :)"I just read
by that author. I was really disappointed with it :( How's that book?
Shakira wrote: "I am currently reading Life as We Knew it. It's a little bit hard to get into it at first, but once you get about two or three chapters in, it gets pretty interesting. Not too much action, but you ..."Read the whole series. loved it. easy, quick read. i loved how the books meshed together. the 3rd was suppose to be the last, but now a fourth one is due out in August. can't wait. it'll be read in one sitting too i'm guessing!
Finished reading
, which was good but not great imo. But it put me in the mood for post-apocs, so I am reading the shorts
and
, before re-reading
. I already read it when it was
.
I just finished
and HIGHLY recommend it for the group. It was a great dystopian. And I've been in a serious dry spell, but this one was awesome and so, so refreshing! Now I'm starting
and
I just finished Angelfall late last night, in fact I wrote a post about it: http://yadystopiafiction.wordpress.co...
That's so funny. A friend on GR and I were just talking about Angelfall xDI'm reading Let the Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger

I'm reading that one too. Really like it so far!
I'm re-reading Stephen King's "Under The Dome" since the June series release is upon us! It's taking me longer than usual though, it's such a long book it's like 1100 pages. :S
Currently reading
(which is signed because I saw John Boyne talk about this book at an event!) and All These Things I've Done which is alright. Re-reading for the millionth time Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone which never gets old (massive Potterhead :p )! Hoping to read The Great Gatsby soon :)
I am currently reading The Mortal Instruments City of Glass. I know the movie is coming out soon and i have to say i am disappointed with their decision of putting Lily Collins as Clary. The books are fabulous tho! i am also reading Zombies vs. Unicorns, which is a book of short stories concerning... zombies and unicorns!
I just finished Eve and Adam by Michael Grant and Katherine Applegate. I really liked that one and love anything by Michael Grant so far. Now, I'm reading Lockdown by Alexander Gordon Smith.
Ender's GameThis book is fantastic! i don't know if this would be considered dystopian, but it is definently post-apocolyptic. It is told from the perspective of a six year old boy (though narrarated in third person omnitient), and i find it completely fascinating. I cant wait to read the entire thing. There is a reason this is a classic!

I agree! That was one of the greatest books I have ever read
K. wrote: "I just finished Angelfall late last night, in fact I wrote a post about it: http://yadystopiafiction.wordpress.co..."I've heard so many good things about that, can't wait to read it:)
At the moment I am reading
, and
. I am also listening to
Enjoying them all so far, but for some reason I have always had a little trouble with audiobooks. I can't quite get into it, and no matter how interesting it is, my mind tends to dance away. I get sucked into stories more when I read them myself.
So far I'm reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and On The Spartacus Road: a Journey Through Ancient Italy, and I'm also thinking of rereading A Game of Thrones and Under the Domesince the miniseries is coming out in JUNE! =)
Lea wrote: "So far I'm reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and On The Spartacus Road: a Journey Through Ancient Italy, and I'm also thinking of rereading A Game of Thrones and Under the Domesin..."I really loved Miss Peregrine's! Thought it was fantastic.

I love the Ender series. SPEAKER FOR THE DEAD (book 2) is my favorite in the series. Have been waiting for movie version of Ender's Game for years; it has release date of Nov. 1st.
Just started DIVERGENT and am really liking it. My husband bought and really liked WORLD WAR Z, so I guess I'll tackle that soon.
I really couldn't get into Speaker for the Dead. I was in like the first half and nothing was really driving me to keep reading it. Does it get better?
