My first response would be EVERYTHING, but that's obviously not an answer. :)I'd have to say that I love the characters the most. The characters in any book are always more important to me than the plot (since the characters should drive the plot). Harry's such a human character - he's heroic and lovable, but also flawed. The same is true for so many others (Snape and Dumbledore are my favorites after the trio). They live in a magical world, but they remind us of ouselves or people we know. We can understand Hermione's insecurity and her tendancy to act like a know-it-all and Ron's fears of always being second best. Harry Potter is also the only series when I love so many of the more minor characters, such as Neville, Luna, Hagrid, the rest of the Weasleys, Sirius, Moody, and Lupin etc. Even the villians: Voldemort, Bellatrix, Lucius, and Umbridge (my special favorite) are interesting or just plain evil and fun to read about.

same here. I love the characters. But I also love the action. Whenever Harry goes on an adventure, you feel as if you are right beside him. Well, that's how it feels to me
