What did you think?

Joseph McGarry (joseph_mcgarry) | 40 comments I thought they were good. I thought the ending of book 4 left it open for a sequel.

S.K. Munt (wordwhisperer) | 85 comments Wake (Watersong #1) by Amanda Hocking

Well I did it! Read my very first mermaid/siren book and I was pretty impressed :)

I had a difficult time getting into "A Mermaid's Kiss," but once I got it I loved it. I have started the second one "Witch's Beauty" like 2-3 times... Just not there yet, I guess. Let me know how it is...

PLUS if you are as set on mermaid romance with erotica like that, you may like this short story - I did!

Heather McLaren | 41 comments I'm glad you're enjoying Mythos, Emm. Merminia is great so far!

message 407: by Randi (new)

Randi (The Artist Formerly known as Guitar Chick) (guitarchick) Llama Llama Red Pajama is my jaaaaaam oh my gosh you're giving me flashbacks to my little sister asking for that one all the time around five years ago. Literally the cutest book ever.

Keeping Merminia is holding my attention, but it's harder to read in class when the school system has gone full-out Big brother on you. I'm getting there Emm, and I'm really enjoying where you're taking the characters. Dragons always help too :)

message 408: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 103 comments I finished The Twilight Swimmer by A.C. Kavich last week and now I'm reading Emm's book, Merminia by Emm Cole

My sister has outgrown them at this point, but oh my gosh, there wasn't a night that at least one of the llama books wasn't read at my house.

I'm almost done with Keeping Merminia, and I did manage to sneak in enough time to finish The Twilight Swimmer, which was really interesting and well developed, although I would put a trigger warning on it for a slight eating disorder subplot, so if you can't do that sort of thing, tread carefully. But it was very unique and I liked it very much.

message 410: by Howard (new)

Howard Parsons (howardparsons) | 181 comments I'm reading Born of Oak and Silver by Marie McKean so that i can review it before Heads Or Tails (The Fairytale Saga #3) by S.K. Munt comes out. Once I review that, I'm set to read Keeping Merminia (Merminia, #2) by Emm Cole & review it.

S.K. Munt (wordwhisperer) | 85 comments I'm reading Born of Oak and Silver by Marie McKean while editing Heads Or Tails (The Fairytale Saga #3) by S.K. Munt and then I'll be reading Merminia by Emm Cole and finishing Lullaby (Watersong, #2) by Amanda Hocking

message 412: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 103 comments I'm almost done Merminia by Emm Cole but I'm rendering my trailer (hopefully for the LAST time) so I can get it out today!! Once it's posted, I'll finish Merminia and continue on to Keeping Merminia (Merminia, #2) by Emm Cole

message 413: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 103 comments Thanks, Emm. Geez, it feels like I'm publishing a novel all over again! I'm so nervous! lol

message 417: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 103 comments I am currently reading Rising by Holly Kelly . It's not bad, a little cheesy in parts, but still interesting enough to keep me going! Has anyone else read it?

message 418: by Jaydn (new)

Jaydn | 5 comments I just finished Rising not too long ago. I felt the same way: it was cheesy and predictable at times but still kept my attention

I downloaded it because we were neck and neck in free downloads two weeks ago, but I haven't read it yet. And I want to read Keeping Merminia (Merminia, #2) by Emm Cole and The Siren by Kiera Cass first.

message 420: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 103 comments I checked out The Siren by Kiera Cass and it looks good! I added it to my TBR list. I didn't realize it's written by the same author who wrote The Selection series! Which I have yet to read... so many great books out there!

message 421: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 103 comments (I've already read Keeping Merminia (Merminia, #2) by Emm Cole and it's great!)

message 422: by S.K. (new)

S.K. Munt (wordwhisperer) | 85 comments Yeah the whole reason I chose that is because I loved The Selection series.

Ha ha in theory, if she doesn't end up with Maxon *fist punches palm*

message 423: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 103 comments Well, looks like I'd better read the first two books before the 3rd comes out in May!

message 424: by Jen (new)

Jen | 4 comments I'm halfway thru the first Selection and I am struggling a bit

message 425: by Becky (new)

Becky | 52 comments Reading Heads Or Tails (The Fairytail Saga #3) by S.K. Munt and The Flight of Gemma Hardy by Margot Livesey

message 426: by Bloggerdise (new)

Bloggerdise | 2 comments I'm reading a mermaid romance book Anemome by Jessie Ash that totally strays away from the usual atlantis plot line. Loving it. I won't give anything away, but the marina scene is romantic/steamy.

Becky | 52 comments The Last Mermaid by Shana Abe and A Countess Below Stairs by Eva Ibbotson

message 428: by Isabella (new)

message 429: by Becky (new)

Becky | 52 comments neither are mermaid books lol
Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades, #3) by E.L. James and The Short Life of Sparrows by Emm Cole

message 430: by Isabella (new)

Isabella (oceangirlie) Are these books any good?

message 431: by Becky (new)

Becky | 52 comments which ones? just started the short life it's good about witches and close to being done with fifty shades.

message 432: by Isabella (new)

Isabella (oceangirlie) Okay that is good. I wanted to hear about both books anyway. Would you recommend them both?

message 433: by Becky (new)

Becky | 52 comments the fifty shades is a good series, but it has a lot a lot of sex in it so just be warned. Short life of Sparrows is written by one of my friends in this group. If you like books about witches then you will like it. Do you prefer a certain genre that you read or just about anything? Sorry a long comment there :)

message 434: by Isabella (new)

Isabella (oceangirlie) Hey my motto is WRITE ON! But thank you for explaining the book and warning me about the stuff. I think I might read Short Life of Sparrows some time and but the other to the side until like a couple of years.

message 435: by Becky (new)

Becky | 52 comments lol yeah fifty shades can be a little too much. Not a problem I just gave it a shot and it's not that bad. It's not awesome but it's okay.

message 436: by Isabella (new)

Isabella (oceangirlie) Good to know. Good. To. Know.

message 437: by [deleted user] (new)
