You'll have to tell me what you think of Siren. I have yet to read it, but I'm not so sure if I want to. I've heard all kinds of mixed reviews on it.

I didn't like it that much for the mermaid aspects (two seconds of it) and the characters were fairly done. I wrote a review if you wanna check the bookpage.

And I'm starting Fins Are Forever right now! Also about halfway through with Ripple. It has a nice plot and I like Mandy Hubbard's writing style.

I found a free little novella called Madly that looks quite interesting. I'd check that out.

I just finished reading The Help and I loved it to pieces. I reccoemend it to everyone. And the movie looks like it's going to be good too! I love Emma Stone, she's hilarious so major points to the director.

Since I was having trouble picking my next read, I send my friend the link to my To-Read list and she narrowed my 60+ books to five, and out of those five I ended up choosing: . It's the first in The Dresden Files books. Only three chapters in, but i like it.

I used to have the first two books in the series, but I never got around to reading them. You'll have to tell me if they're worth picking back up! :)

I am currently reading and it is amazing! I love the mermaid world and mythology in this one. Definitely unique and refreshing. :)

No problem! It's really good. I love how it alternates between the girl's POV on land and the merdude's POV under the sea. I'm loving it! :)

Oooh yay! So glad to hear you say that. My book has multiple POVs and I'm always worried people will dislike the head hopping, but I love those kid of stories. :)

Everblue gets bonus points for alternating POVs.

I love books with multiple POVs. That way you're able to experience the emotions of all the characters, rather than just one. It makes all the characters more three-dimensional. And I definitely can't wait to check out your book! I actually remember checking out your blog a loooong time ago - so cool to finally be able to read the book! I think I was sold when I heard the title The Sea Monster Memoirs. :)

It is pretty good. I've only a read little today, haven't had much time, getting senior year stuff out of the way, but when I do read I always say I'm gonna read just one chapter, and I end up reading five. Something about this book just keeps dragging me back in, like my eyes don't want to leave the page.

I love books like that. Things like the Millenium Trilogy and Harry Potter do that to me all the time.

I've been reading and I have fallen in LOVE with this book! It's a bit predictable, mainly because the vampire/vampire-hunter story has been done so many times before, but it's definitely unique and so so good! I've been reading nonstop for the past three days. :D

Ooh, I got that one in June at the RWA National con in NYC but haven't read it yet. Glad to know it's good. She was hilarious in person. :)

And her hilariousness is written into the book, too! There's been some lines of dialogue and scenes that have had me laughing out loud. That rarely happens for me. :D For me, that's the sign of a good book, when I can laugh or cry while reading.

Never was a big Meg Cabot fan myself but the one of my friends read the Princess Diaries and loved it, and I have to say, she is pretty hilarious.

I loved Princess Diaries :) But my favorite of hers was All American Girl.

I finished reading Storm Front, and Garrett, it was really good! If you like urban fantasy and wizards you should definitely pick this book back up.

Now I'm reading , which is the fourth book in Jim C. Hines' princess series. Anyone who is a fairytale fan should give these books a try. The three main characters are Danielle (Cinderella), Talia (Sleeping Beauty) and Snow (Snow White). Each book has had a main theme with a twist on a classic tale and the second book in the series is about The Little Mermaid. I totally recommend these!

It's so funny you brought up the Princess series. I've been eyeing these for so long, but I've never gotten around to buying them yet. They will most definitely be read by me eventually. :)

Hines' series is a lot of fun. I how he created new versions of familiar characters and stories, and was able to bring them together. The mermaid story was definitely a good one, but you have to start with the first in the series to get a good feel for the three main leads. They were fast, entertaining easy reads. I know you'll love them. They have a few dark moments, and there was one particular twist to a character that I never saw coming. But I won't spoil anything since I know you'll read them eventually.

They sound amazing, and all the reviews I've seen were good. Plus, it gets extra brownie points for having a story based on The Little Mermaid. :)

Finished and it has definitely become one of my favorite vampire novels. War between two groups of vampires, demon hunters, and even a gigantic fire-breathing dragon made this one of the most epic awesome vampire books I've read yet! It's definitely become a favorite, if you can't already tell by my gushing.

So now, I'm thinking about reading these I've had them since the books came out in 2002 and have never finished them. Although I really need to finish this, too I've had this book in ARC form since February, but every time I start it I lay it aside again. That review is LONG overdue. :(

I'm currently reading (I've read the last two, but never got around to reading the first until now) and I love it! I've laughed out loud a couple times already. My friend at school probably thought I was crazy. :D

I just finished Lost Voices and its one of my favorite merbooks! Oh, it was really good. Now I'm on to Forever

I really want to read the Shiver books. I had the first two, still have the second, but someone borrowed the first, and now I never see that girl anymore, so I can't get it back. Sigh...

Forever was very bittersweet, but it's my favorite book in the series :) I loved it.


And Lost Voices might be my favorite merbook. I'm debating it. Anyway, I'll go write full reviews for those two now.

I think I'm gonna read this one next . It's HUGE! There's four books in one! And it's kind of like 'The Wish,' one of the best Buffy episodes!

I've finished a re-read of Catching Fire and now I'm on to either Les Misérables or Graceling

Les Miserables is probably one of the better books you'll ever read in school. I liked it, but then again we read the condensed version, rather than the long one. Graceling, I hear, is really good.
