how long does the BD take to ship?

message 52: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I am going to pre-order the hardback also from Amazon. Maybe they will ship early -- but wait -- there is no delivery on Monday right? (Martin Luther King Jr. day)

message 53: by Rhonda (new)

Rhonda (helpmerhonda72) I've Got both pre ordered!!

Regina (reginar) I just pre-ordered the Hardbook (in addition to the ebook) from Amazon. It states I will get it on 1/18. Hopefully it will ship earlier (like today or tomorrow), I automatically get 2 day shipping. So here's hoping I get it Friday or Saturday.

I also get 2 day free shipping. I don't see it releasing early and if it is monday, I kina might as well preorder from amazon.

Regina (reginar) Kinda weird, maybe means nothing, but when you pre-order you usually have a few days to cancel. However, when you order something that is going to be shipped out by Amazon, you only have 30 minutes to cancel an order (b/c it will then be prepared to ship). My counter on Amazon is counting down from 30 minutes -- eliminating my cancellation time. I am probably reading too much into this.

seriously??? It say I have 47 hours left to order if I want to recieve it on the release date. See what happens in 30 minutes.

It depends.
It used to take 3-5 days. More than 10 lately :(
US? Too long...
(a month, I think)

Rhea (rh3a) | 9 comments They're great if you live in the UK, or Europe.
Australia even. LOL

Lori {Romancing the Dark Side} (romancingthedarkside) | 20 comments Even though I just started this series and am on book 3, I pre-ordered a hard copy and can't wait to read it! I'll be staying away from all the Shadowfever posts until I actually read it...this is one series I don't want to know what happens beforehand!

Rozwellite | 13 comments I am getting the nook version from barnes and noble for my iphone. I read so much that I don't really have room for hardback books and it saves trees. :)

Nicole Brown (nickichicki) | 37 comments Hardback for me! I have all the other books in Hardback, with the exception of Darkfever because I've never seen one without that half naked female/male cover that totally doesn't go with anything else.

Of course Shadowfever won't match the others but...whatever. Hardback. lol.

Ugh. I can't find all the others in hardback.

Nicole Brown (nickichicki) | 37 comments Yeah it's hard to do once they've been out for awhile. I have them because i've been following the series basically since book 1 (I waited 2 months for Bloodfever). It's been agonizing so long between each one. Faefever was the worst lol!

Have you tried 1/2 price books? I know they have one in Apple Valley that you can find Hardbacks of "older" series at.

I can't believe I forgot about 1/2 price books. I swear the last time I was there was like when I was like 13. I'll check there. =D

The kindle version is $9.99. It is sooooo worth getting the ebook instead of waiting forever for the UPS guy!

Valerie (ladyval) | 2 comments I preordered it for my Nook and there it was on release day! :) Sadly, I still have to read Dreamfever since I'm very new to this series.
