Arcadia A Play by Tom Stoppard. It arrived in the post today. I have to read it for sixth form Eng Literature.

The Gardner Heist The True Story of the World's Largest Unsolved Art Theft, which is interesting and well-written and
And Then There Were None, a re-read, my all-time favorite AC ever. I actually decided to re-read to see if my almost-10-yo is ready for AC yet. I am thinking no (he is going into 4th--I discovered AC in 7th and read about 30 before 8th :) ). Not sure he could follow this, though the writing is easy to read. FWIW, he hates reading (yeah, my kid...aaacccckkkk), only likes humor and mystery (but not Hardy Boys--they are "stupid").

I really recommend The Secret Garden if you haven't read it already.

Loved this! I hope you enjoy it, Lauren!
Currently, I'm reading The Road. Will also start reading Mistress of the Art of Death and World Without End.

I love the images in the book. It is the closest I ever want to get too 18th century France. Phooey, it must have stunk!!! But it does make you think about how we are affected by sent and smell.

And I read as well Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. It's a an ok bookray from the bookcrossing site.

Alice in Wonderland! I've never read it before.

Have a nice reading day

I've succumbed to my bad habit to read several books at the same time. Right now I'm reading The Quiet American, Buying a Fishing Rod for My Grandfather Stories and The Redbreast.

Currently I am reading way too many books but I am reading:
1)Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
2)..."
I am reading I Capture the Castle. It is surprisingly entertaining. I'm about halfway and it reminds me of Sense and Sensibility, but not nearly as boring and more modernly written. I keep thinking they are in another time because of the castle and lack of amenities due to poverty. anyway... so far its a good read.

I'm reading a real page turner, The Calling by Inger Ash Wolfe. The Ontario Police Service track a very warped serial killer across Canada.

Let me know what you think of The Time Traveler's Wife. I read that ages ago and am wondering if perhaps I should give it a go again.

"The Curious Incident.." is a very insightful book, let me know what you think when you have read it. Also let me know about what you think about "The Time Travellers Wife".
