Hi, I'm new to the group and I'm looking for some good zombie novels. Any suggestions? Just name a bunch of great zombie novels and their authors. Thanks! :D

Here are some solid zombie reads:Dead Sea by Brian Keene
Dead City by Joe McKinney
Among Madmen by Jim Starlin
World War Z by Max Brooks
The Walking Dead (graphic novels) by Robert Kirkman
The Return of the Living Dead by John Russo (an old novel written by the guy who co-wrote the NOTLD screenplay. This was released before the original Dawn of the Dead movie).
Zombie Survival Guide by Max BrooksResident evil: Umbrella Conspiracy by S.D. Perry
Resident evil: Caliban cove by S.D. Perry
Dying to Live by Kim Paffenroth, Day by Day Armageddon by J.L. Bourne, History is Dead Anthology published by Permuted Press. Take at look at permutedpress.com. They specialize in zombie literature.
Max Brooks' books are a definite. Z.A. Recht's Morningstar Saga books. The second one is much better than the first, but I recommend both.
David Moody's Autumn series was top notch.
Len Barnhart's Reign of the Dead books.
Brian Keene's The Rising. I honestly recommend skipping the sequel because the end was crap in my opinion.
Simon Clark's Blood Crazy is terrific.
Gregory Solis' Rise And Walk was decent.
Joe McKinney's Dead City wasn't bad.
Well I feel kinda bad know, I just bought City of the Dead by Brian Keene. I didn't know there was a first one called Rising. I'm going to take it back and buy Rising.
Try APEX, written by me. It's non-stop zombie action. Think Walking Dead meet Blackhawk Down. I'm sure you will like it. It can be found on Amazon, B&N, and Authorhouse.com.
So far my favorites have been-the Newsflesh series by Mira Grant
the Benny Imura series by Jonathan Maberry
Dead Living by Glenn Bullion
The Return Man by V.M. Zito
the White Flag series by Joseph Talluto
the Ex-Heroes series by Peter Clines
Double Dead by Chuck Wendig (very different)
the Eden series by Tony Monchinski
Remains of the Dead by Iain McKinnon
I just finished reading The Last Overseer and loved it. It's really one of the freshest take on the zombie genre in a while!
Ex Heroes by Peter Clines. Superheroes and Zombies!!!! one of my favorites, and this is just book one! :)
Try Necropolis Now by Vincenzo Bilof. I am reading the second book of this series and can't put it down.
