Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Never seen either. Skeptical of both.

Well, not of UFOs, but just because I think they are exactly that: unidentified flying objects. Not of otherworldly origins.

Félix (habitseven) What about Bigfoot, Jackie?

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Seems unlikely, Larry.

message 54: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Yup. There would be a lot more evidence around.

As someone who cleans up the back yard, I would say there would be a lot of big, stinky evidence.

I haven't seen either ghosts or UFOs, but for months after I had Stormy euthanized I felt his presence at my side.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3595 comments Funny, Jammies. Who needs footprints?

No ETs for me, but I did feel the presence of my grandmother standing next to my bed the night she died, and I believe I saw my beloved dog of 14 years standing in the doorway the day after she died. Probably mind tricks, but maybe not. I'm inclined to give some credence to experiences like the ones Larry, Kristina, and Ken describe, as they seem to last longer than a few seconds(and there's not a loony bone among these guys).

Félix (habitseven) Well, Scout, I appreciate your thoughts on the relative loonyness of my bones ....

Didn't mean to offend or seem judgmental. Must choose my words more carefully. I had actually cast myself as the loony one who believes in ghosts.

Interesting story, KD.

Stina (stinalee) | 749 comments I would love to see a ghost... not a mean one, but just a regular old ghost. I've been to many of the places in Portland that are supposed to be haunted and NOTHING!!

No I was not offended at all.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Aliens, UFOs... nyet.

Ghosts? I've already shared my ghost story (post # 5).

Sandysconnected | 43 comments I totally saw a UFO once, and it is still a U. It was hard to find the answer to what it truly was, because then I'd have had to reveal that I was in a place with a person I shouldn't have been with doing something I shouldn't have been doing... *sigh*

James (m0gb0y74) | 54 comments Never seen a UFO but seen a ghost before. Funny thing was it didn't scare me. Lived in another house that had a presence that I never saw but it was malevolent....***shudder***

Last time I drank tequila, I looked Death in the face the next morning. Does that count?

Well, he's full of something.

Aynge (ayngemac) | 1202 comments Back in the 90's when I was a huge X-Files fan, I used to want to see a UFO. But the more I thought about it, I couldn't see any good coming out of that scenario.

When I was a six, we spent the night with our cousins, and in the room we slept in, I swore I could see these white ghostly hands coming through the wall, the next night they seemed to come even further in. I woke up my older sister who looked over, got up, and promptly pulled the curtains back.

Trick of the moonlight. Or was it?

message 71: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) We will never know.
