I have a book question too. Before I really got into ebooks. I found two that I really enjoyed the first chapters of. I found the first, which was Love Script. The second one all I remember is that it involves a curvier black female and a white male. I think they meet on an elevator and he's attracted to her. Its been like two years and I just found Love Script. I can't remember if they were on the same publishers website, but in my mind I think I found them both at the same time originally. Can anyone help with this second elusive title?
@Lolita -The only IR book that I can think of where the H/h meet by bumping into each other on an elevator isn't available as an e-book, but you can read the first few chapters on Amazon. It is At Last by Lisa G. Riley.
It opens with two female college roommates discussing their vacation plans. The white roommate is trying to talk her black roommate into coming home with her for the break, but the black girl is resistant because her roommate is into country music, etc, and she doesnt feel she will fit in. Eventually she talks her into coming. At the airport, the girls are picked up by an older brother who is instantly attracted to the black girl and treats her with pseudo-disdain to fight his feelings for her. He brings them home but he tells her he thinks it best she not stay and sends her away. But the whole time he is fighting his attraction to her. It then cuts to a few years later, the black girl runs into the brother somehow and thats where it ended. Also I think (not sure if it was this one or not) it wasnt available for purchase in the US. Sound familiar to anyone?
