This seems like it was a pretty cool show. He talked to all the big scifi writers of the day. Here's part 1 of the episode about awards. Harlan Ellison has a very strong opinion. :)

I like the idea of the Writers Guild Award, where you don't know the name of the writers being considered.

I've been a fan of Harlan since the mid-70's. Both as a writer and as an opinionated curmudgeon. If you like hearing him, I strongly recommend Dreams With Sharp Teeth. It's available on Amazon and Netflix. Be warned, however. It's 90+ minutes of pure Harlan; a little goes a long way.
