SUSAN *Nevertheless, she persisted* (susan-workstosupportbookhabit) The Girl On A Train by Paula Hawkins. It started slow and is now, picking up speed.

MJ Codename: ♕Duchess♕ (heyitsthemj) I'm listening to Sweet Myth-Tery of Life on audio and reading The Silver Blade.

I love the Myth series and it's one of my favorites on audio.
The Silver Blade has taken some time to get into, which sucks because I adored The Red Necklace; but then again, I did TRN on audio and I think it helped with the flow. TSB has never been put out on audio, but once I manage to pick up speed with it, it's been good.

penneminreads I'm halfway through The Martian by Andy Weir and I'm absolutely loving it. I don't want it to end!

Liv | 7 comments just finished Deeper Than Midnight (Midnight Breed, #9) by Lara Adrian .. I think its pretty good.. but this series is so long already.. It's kinda predictable what will happen in the books.. now I started the next one Darker After Midnight (Midnight Breed, #10) by Lara Adrian

Michael | 5 comments I am reading "The Life of Elizabeth I" by Alison Weir
It's good but I am only read 40 pages.

message 1606: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 3273 comments I am listening to Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple - I am finding it humorous and a light read. I am reading I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson - great writing for YA fiction, explores some sexuality which may seem too adult for YA.

message 1607: by penneminreads (new)

penneminreads I'm finally reading Jane Eyre and loving it so far.

Rakel (im_rakel) | 3 comments I'm currently reading Dreams of Gods & Monsters by Laini Taylor. I'm on the last 100 pages or so and I'm sad to see it end. This is definitely one of my favorite series.

MJ Codename: ♕Duchess♕ (heyitsthemj) Red Rising. Took way too long for the book to get interesting but I told a GR friend I would finish it. I have the second one on order from the library, but I honestly don't know if I want to read it or not.

Loretta (lorettaregina) | 2 comments Im currently reading love in the time of cholera by Gabriel García Márquez and just read this quote that I really liked: "Tell him yes. Even if you are dying of fear, even if you are sorry later, because whatever you do, you will be sorry all the rest of your life if you say no" LOVING IT! Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez

Holli | 397 comments Elantris (Elantris, #1) by Brandon Sanderson
It's a good book so far but the names are driving me buggy. You'll tie your brain in a knot trying to pronounce some of them. I have an audiobook of it I'm listening to at the same time that helps though.

MJ Codename: ♕Duchess♕ (heyitsthemj) The Ghosts of Heaven. It's not bad, not as good as Midwinterblood, but it's good. I'm looking forward to reading it again but in a different order than front to back.

message 1624: by Sheena (new)

Sheena I've just started "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. It's good so far, but I'm only 175 pages in, so that could change. His writing style seems to have a certain draw to it, although it doesn't suck me in like other authors such as Tamora Pierce and Jim Butcher.

MJ Codename: ♕Duchess♕ (heyitsthemj) Mmmm, Butcher.

I heard this book is slower at the beginning but then will pick up and is great. Still gotta get to it someday.

Marybeth (narutofan14) | 262 comments Yesterday i finally finished The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater and i have to say that the story is picking up. I don't know when i will get the next one but i will definitely get it at some point. I am now making some progress with Barely Breathing (Breathing, #2) by Rebecca Donovan , Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1) by Tahereh Mafi and Fallout (Crank, #3) by Ellen Hopkins .

MJ Codename: ♕Duchess♕ (heyitsthemj) A Clockwork Orange.
The cockney English is really hard to decipher, but I love the movie and have been wanting to read this for years. I've owned it for years on my ereader, just not a big fan of ereaders. Finally bought it in paperback.

It's...interesting.

message 1630: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 3595 comments Currently reading The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton and Fairest (The Lunar Chronicles, #3.5) by Marissa Meyer . I had to put The House We Grew Up In by Lisa Jewell aside because some of the story lines and characters were similar enough that I kept mixing them up with The Secret Keeper. I think they were just a little to similar to start at the same time.

Marybeth (narutofan14) | 262 comments I dropped Deception for now since it had to go back to the library but i will pick it up again in April or May i just haven't figured out when and it depends on how much hw i get when i do get it. I have also finished The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton and i really didn't like it that much. i had no interest throughout the book whatsoever. i am now reading The 5th Wave (The Fifth Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey which is a lot better even though there is a lot of info to process through the first few chapters but i am very much enjoying this one. I also started Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater this morning but it is a reread for me.

MJ Codename: ♕Duchess♕ (heyitsthemj) I've started and bailed on a few books so far this month but I'm almost finished with Oryx and Crake and I'm really enjoying it.
