SOLVED!: Dean Koontz book about a husband that comes back from the dead [s]

My barber was telling me about a book that went something like this. She said it was Twilight Eyes, but I looked at the plot synposis for that book, and it sounds totally different. She was unsure about it, so I think it may have been something else. Any help is appreciated thanks :)

Is it Shadow Fires? It was written by Dean Koontz & Leigh Nichols.

I think it's solved, or at least as close as it will be to being solved, unless Dean Koontz happens to have another book with the same plot ._.
