janine | 7709 comments all of the different time zones are confusing me. gail lives in the future and the rest of you live in the past, i think. am i the only one living in the present? it's too much to keep track of. maybe this will help.

it's 11:14 AM here now, and it's the 16th.

It is 9:45pm on the 16th

That makes me 10 hours ahead of you.

You, Spellbound and Gail all live in the future, Janine, except Gail is more like the distant future. I live in the current, the BEST time zone, mountain.
It is 5:15am on Thursday December 16.

message 6: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments you're 8 hours behind. that's what i call the past.

message 7: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) It's 6:40 AM, December 16. That's CENTRAL time. Which means it's at the CENTER of all things that happen. This is where the action is. This is where NOW is.

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments It's 9:45am here in the Eastern time zone--which, on most maps, is to the right of the Midwest and to the left of Europe, although politically, not so much.

Jim | 6484 comments Larry is the center of the universe, I guess that makes us all his moons!

I liked it when new years 2000 happened and we all watched Australia have the new year first and breathed a collective sigh of relief that the apocalypse didn't occur.

That seems so long ago now. Julian Assange was just then crafting his dating profile.
