Me: I GOT PANT-CRAPPER READING PJO. I was reading Red Pyramid and he tells me if I have any HP and I'm like, "Read PJO." And he told me he'd never heard of Percy Jackson. Not even the movie. o.O SO I gave it to him and he's loving it.
@ Ivi--Same thing with some of my other relatives, but they don't talk English or Spanglish so it goes:

Me: XDVannie, your family cracks me up.
Me: My mom's side all speaks another language. And it's hard for me to keep up but usually I can piece out enough to get the gist. I can listen/understand more than speak. But with Spanish? Uumm when they speak rapidly, I'm lost!!
Me: Yeah, I pick out little things and have a small understanding. The part I dread the most is trying the food they bring, 'cos I have NO. CLUE. What some things are. Sometimes they taste good, and then they can be disgusting. When I was little I was allowed to spit it up, but apparently when you get older the rules change and you have to swallow it. *scoff*
