Me: IS, I know it feels like an invasion but given my experience -- there are a lot of creeps on the internet. The worst ones are those who are wolves in sheep's clothing. The more you're open and nonchalant about your mother checking, over time she will realize that yeah, you're smart and perceptive and are practicing good internet safety...so to say. And the checking may be less.

It took a good fight for me. Even now I still get the whole everyone on the internet are axe murderers.
