The starting point to this RP is this. Randomly each character gets sent a notice in the mail for "special" participants only. It hints at a great reward, as in thousands. It's a contest where "No one could ever loose", but when people arrive at the destination on the card they're kidnapped and they find out that they've gotten themselves involved in something more dangerous than they'd suspected. Someone who is interested in people with powers has found each of them, he will offer them a deal. The outcome of what happens to each of them depends on whether they reject or accept the offer.

........
After Aven dropped the rest of the mail on the dining table, she slipped to her bedroom. She sunk into her desk chair and tore the envelope open.
Miki slung a pack across her shoulder nonchalantly. She wore black leather motorcycle gloves, her cycle was parked in it's usual spot, underneath a thin wood awning in the back. She entered the apartment complex and was just about to enter the elevator when she happened to glance at the 25 person mail block. A letter stuck out of her's. Curious she went to the locker and, taking out her key, opened it.
The letter she fingered was very ornately inscribed. Beautiful patterns flowed across the top. It said "To Honorable Winner Miki Knightz"

((sorry, gtg))
As Miki read the note it explained how an old time millionaire had died and left in his will that to "help the people" he asked that his fortune be dispersed among random participant in a simple contest that would take place at the convention center in a city nearby Miki's home. Every participant would walk away with a reward it continued, as they contest was one only to help distribute the rewards to the most "deserved and hardworking".
Miki tossed the letter back into the locker and pulled out a pack of nicotine gum. "What a load of dung." she muttered. She glanced back into the locker. There was another letter. She picked this one up cautiously. She already smelled trouble as she opened it and started to read. She muffled another curse as she crumpled the letter. "A week?" she hissed, "How do they expect me to pay in just a week?" she glanced back into the locker at the other letter. "Dung." she said again.

Aven sighed and swung around in her chair, thinking if there was anything false about this letter. She figured that no harm done if she went, and she ran downstairs to pester her mom into driving her to the convention center.
((I understand that. Finals are crazy.))
Miki arrived at the convention center an hour before the time on the letter. She was a naturally suspicious person and that whole letter smelled of something foul, still she'd come on any chance that she was wrong. She needed the money, but. . .her instincts told her to step carefully with this. She'd left her motorcycle at the apartment, if something bad was to happen here she didn't want her favorite mode of transportation to be wrecked in some fight. Instead she'd used that, she didn't like using that.
Irritated she shrugged off the feeling in her gut that was something was wrong. Her bike wasn't here, she'd be able to see early if someone was doing anything suspicious, she could fight, if it came to that. She almost chuckled, that was a given. What possibly could go wrong?

Miki sat silently at the top of a restaurant building, she was the only person up there, which suited her, prying eyes annoyed her. Her camera hung glinting from her neck, she was in a seat right next to the edge and occasionally she glanced down.
Each time a new person appeared and went through the doors of the convention center she would raise her camera for a few second, snap a few pictures and lower it again. Then she would connect her camera to a computer on the table beside her and start to research.
Frankly being this thorough was nothing to her. There were a dozen time where she knew if she hadn't been very thorough, she'd have become very dead. The effort usually turned up results.
The designated time came around and a clock next to the convention center started to chime.
It was time to choose. Would she go or not? She leaned over the railing, noticing the electric sign board that had previously pointed the direction to take when inside the convention had gone blank. What the. . .
It was at that moment that something very solid connected with the back of her head and things dissolved.

Aven gasped at the thousands of people waiting in a twisting line to a desk full of frantic employees. It would take forever to see what the prize is! She moaned to herself and dragged her feet until she was standing in the line. Aven looked back outside, wondering if she should just go back home. Then out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a tall, lanky man walking towards the doors. As he came to a stop in front of the doors, blocking the entrance, his eyes met hers. Aven immediately glanced away, but it was too late. She already seen that something was wrong.
She stood there frozen and unsure of what to do. At first, she thought she could run up to the front desk to tell what's going on, but then there was so many people how would she get there before that man takes action? Or, she thought, Maybe I could find an emergency exit. She nodded to herself, seeing that that so far was her best way of action. She glanced back at the man, who seemed distracted by a fight that broke out somewhere near the front of the line. She slowly slipped away from her spot and headed towards a door with a glowing exit sign. Well, that seemed easy, she smiled to herself.
As she reached for the doorknob, all the lights in the building flashed and everything turned dark. Aven looked around in confusion as all the people in the line passed out. The people at the front desk were missing. Again she reached for the doorknob, but this time someone grabbed her from behind and shove an awfully sweet smelling piece of clothe over her face. She tried to scream, but whoever was holding her squeezed until her scream died. She couldn't breath, and she thrashed about trying to escape. When her head felt it would explode and red spots filled her vision did she give in and took a breath of that sweet smell. Her body went limp, her eyelids heavy. And darkness seeped into her consciousness.
((Is that good? I'm thinking that flash of light was a machine that knocked the people unconscious and Aven didn't pass out because she didn't directly see it.))
((That was great. I like the way your creative about it.))
Miki felt hazy as she slowly woke up. "What the. . ." she cursed. "Foresight, huh. Foresight by butt."
There was complete blackness around her and as she felt around she realized she was in some type of metal room. It was around 4 feet by 4 feet, and 6 feet high. She felt for her lighter, afraid it might be gone. It was there. She struck it and illuminated the room. It was metal, and there was a door, with no handle. Miki stared at it. Were they testing her? She could easily get out but that would cause trouble if they saw her, a lot of trouble.
She folded her arms. For now it seemed the best option to just wait. After all she'd not listened to her instincts before and come. She wouldn't disobey them again.

((How about Miki heard her bang on the wall?))
(Okay!)
Miki heard a loud thump on the side of the wall. Her eyes narrowed. Someone else was there. That hadn't sounded intentional.
She thought for a moment. If she used her powers to get there would they notice?
She frowned. She'd have to take a chance. She let a small smile touch her lips. Sitting and waiting wasn't her style anyway.
Vanishing in the black of her own room she reappeared again on the other side of the wall. Barely missing jumping inside the wall on the other side. She crashed into it.

Miki reached into her pocket and took out her lighter. She turned it on and looked at the person opposite her.
She scanned her. "Knightz." She said. "You were here for the tournament." It wasn't a question. The word were stuck out.

"Was." was all she said. She went to the door feeling it. "Locked, like the other one." she said. Just then a bell rang. sounding through the cells. There was a click and the door swung open.
"Welcome." said a voice from a set of loudspeakers high above their heads. "To the Arena of The Gifted."
Miki pocked her head out of the room, glancing around. "Sh. . ." she muttered.
There was a ring of metal doors around them and then a hallway leading out. A row of light along the wall lit a pathway leading obviously to where their captors wanted them to be. The doors of the other rooms clicked open and a few faces popped out glancing around with fear in their eyes.

Then, the voice from the speakers said, "Aven Caulfield, please enter the Arena."
Aven yelped again in surprise. She glanced at Miki before she tentatively walked to the doors at the end of the hall.
((Is that okay that I rp'd for the voice from the speaker?))
When she reached the end of the hall she found that Miki had followed her. She eyed her speculatively, "You new name is Miki." she said gruffly. "I'll handle what ever stupidity they have planned. Those psychopaths shouldn't have kidnapped children." she growled and without another word she swept in front of Aven entering the open doors. They banged shut behind her with a foreboding clang.
The speaker on the wall came to life again. "All other contestants to the tournament please enter the left hall and continue on to the viewing room."

((I'm a little confused. Was Aven following Miki? Or did you make Aven be Miki and says she was following the real Miki?))
((Aven was called. Miki went after her and told her that she was going to pretend to be Aven(Because she didn't want her going into whatever crazy thing they had set up) and that Aven should pretend to be her. Then before Aven could protest she entered whatever the tournament makers had set up for Aven.))

Aven stood there, facing the door in silent shock. Why would she go in the arena? She doesn't even know my real name! What should I do? she thought. Then, a sudden roaring of a crowd came from the other side. She stood in uncertainty, then turned around and nervously walked to the left hall.
((where can my charrie pop in?))
Vincent was ushered into this room with people in there he didn't recognize. What the haymaker is going on?! he thought.

Miki Knightz stood at the center of the arena, at the center of a large forested area. She slouched nonchalantly though her eyes were sharp. She had a cigarette lit, it's smoke rising just as lazily from her mouth.
She'd quit, so what.
Her eyes searched the field, though once again she retained her lazy motion. Her stance may have looked lazy but she was ready.
((Poet, do you want to start?))

Vincent looked around at the other people. Was he supposed to fight? They looked like he was expected to fight later.
((Okay, I'm a tad confused at what's going on.))
((Okay, I'm a tad confused at what's going on.))

((What am I supposed to do?))
((Okay the people in the watch room are witnessing this first battle. Since Poet created a charrie that was inside the arena I thought you wanted to do a battle. If not I'll set up something I have in mind. P.S. So it wont be too boring I'll set up the next scene for those in the watch room.))
As the crowd watched the screen that was focused on the first in the arena there was a creak at the door. Slowly, almost lazily and woman wearing a professional suit stepped into the room, wearing a serviceable smile. "Welcome my friends." she said.

Mira continued to circle the arena, her eyes never leaving her first competitor. She pulled back her mouth in a snarl, exposing fangs and stopped in a crouch.
Knightz immediately took a low stance, her eyes locked onto Mira's. The left side of her lip tilted upward a bit. "Bring it on, pussy." she taunted. Her eyes betrayed nothing but confidence.
The woman walked straight into the middle of the room and then smiled again. It was a smile that didn't reach her eyes, "Welcome." She repeated, "This is the Proelium Center for the talented. You few and proud have been selected to participate in a tournament in which you have the chance to win millions." she slowly turned, eying every candidate. "Only one can win, and what you see outside is an example of one type of round that this tournament displays." She smiled her smiled again. "Any questions?" she said slightly amused

Mira dug her fingers into the dirt floor of the arena, then lunged at Miki, claws extended. She raked them down Miki's legs, then swept them out from under her. She pounced onto Miki, pinning her down and snarling, her face inches away.
But suddenly she wasn't there. A full thirty feet away Mira spotted her, smiling now. "'Mere, pussy, pussy, pussy cat." In her hand she had a medium length, heavy knife. A moment after she spoke something seemed to hit her like an aftershock, a heavy one. She staggered, but managed to keep her eyes open.
A loudspeaker came on above their head and a slightly drunken sounding voice yelled, "Finish her!"
((How about when Knightz staggers Mira gets her but a moment before Knightz manages to use her powers again and ends up dropping on top of her, knocking them both out.))
